3 Year Old Daughter-Feeding tube & Constipation

Hello,
I'm looking for help with my daughter who is predominately fed by g-tube (following heart surgery to repair a defect). We have been unable to find a reason for her inability to wean from the tube. She does eat by mouth 3 times a day, and we supplement with an Organic Soy Formula through the tube. She suffered constipation and pediatric GI recommended Miralax. Long story short, after a year of using it, she successfully stooled every day, but we were not getting weight gain and noticing behavioral changes (hyperness). 3 weeks ago, after research about the side effects of long term use AND use in children, we stopped using Miralax. I know Miralax is supposed to be weaned, but I don't want to give my daughter that poison one day longer. But obviously she is suffering from the sudden 'detox.' I have had great success using homeopathics and I'm hoping it can benefit my daughter. She is suffering constipation again, but even worse. She has no urge or desire to stool. When she does, it's dried and crumbly, and usually requires a couple of trips to the toilet for complete evacuation. As she gets more 'backed up,' she also gets dry skin and redness in her cheeks, as well as loss of appetite. She has pronounced loss of appetite first thing in the morning. She is a very sensitive girl as far as moods are concerned.
So I'm looking for help healing her rectum from cathartics, as well as ways to keep her regular or 'cure the constipation'(we encourage as much fruit and vegetables as we can squeeze in her oral eating, it's just not enough with the tube-feeding situation). I'd also like to boost her appetite without using the drug (Periactin) prescribed.
Any and all help/advice is much appreciated! Please let me know if I've left something out or need to offer more information. Thanks in advance!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Her constipation symptoms fit the remedy Natrum Mur. Try taking it in the 30c once a day for a few days and see if that helps. If not, write back.

RAcheal,
Her age?
Behavioral changes (hyperness): What do you mean by that? Give an example?
Very sensitive girl as far as moods are concerned.... please explain this in detail with examples..
Describe her Behavior or nature a bit.
Any thing else you would like to mention about her condition?

sanremo: Thanks for the recommendation! We started the first dose this morning.

yoeshrajurkar: She's 3 years old.
The behavioral changes I was referring to were due to ingestion of Miralax. Since we have ceased that med, she has calmed considerably. She is sensitive in that anything can upset her. I know she is a toddler, but it's a comparison I can make only next to another child her age. She has had a rough start in life with surgeries and doctors, so perhaps her sensitivity to everything, including foods, medicines, and people around her is understandable. I guess what I mean is for a child, she is hyper-aware of her surroundings and can turn giggly to crying to visibly angry in 2 seconds over the smallest things (hope that helps). For the most part, she is a very bright, articulate child.
