irritated ear canals - over a decade

Hello kind reader,

I've been struggling for about 12 years now with painful itching and scaling in my ear canals. It seems it's a mystery to all the drs. I consult, even the naturopaths. I'd love to solve this once and for all and stop the near constant pain. I'm female, 40 years old. Brown hair, poor vision, strong desire to help people. Pleasant family environment with 2 young children.

Symptoms: inside both ears the skin is painful, red, scaling. Behind left ear is also scaly and weeps. Red spots come up on nose and right cheek near nose at various times through the month. Underweight. Inability to feel joy. Abdominal area feels very tender to the touch, as though something inside might burst if pressed.

I have been told it is gluten intolerance, exhausted adrenals, thyroid problem.

I sleep easily and deeply, no recurring dreams.

Sensitive to criticism, disappointing people, some days I have no patience for my children (7 and 2) and that really bothers me.

I feel 'okay' inside but people often think I'm upset or sad or grumbly because of my facial expressions.

Aversion to pickles, pork, highly processed foods. I've been following the Blood Type Diet (type O) for about 6 years.

major illnesses in the past: hospitalised with pneumonia at age 12. Mono at 20, at least 3 months to recover.

Childhood of abandonment, sexual abuse and neglect. Ear problem started at the tail end of an unhealthy relationship that I managed to break out of.

Thanks for reading this far! Any help would be much appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Considering your early days you've done pretty well!.

Two remedies show up very strongly , so a few questions.

Are you tidy/untidy.
Do you get hot/cold feet in bed.

Do you have a bowel motion soon after waking .

Do woollen garments irritate your skin.

Do you have a short fuse , or avoid confrontation at any price.

Is your hair dry and tangles easily.

Ae you interested in abstract subjects.

Thanks for your reply.

I tend to make piles. I keep myself tidy, though. I can be very organized and good at organizing outside the home.

My feet are usually cold in bed.

No bowel movement after waking. Stools note: often there will be oil on the surface of the water.

I do fine with wool socks, but wool on my bare arms is uncomfortable.

I'm notorious for avoiding confrontation. But I do have a short fuse when I'm driving and other drivers are doing stupid things. I'll holler and grumble (only because they can't hear me).

My hair at the scalp gets oily very quickly. No tangles.

Yes, I'm interested in abstract subjects.

I have taken nat mur and silicea in the past, as well as some chinese herbals, and three-lac (lacto-bacillus?) for digestion. The problem completely cleared up in the third trimester of my last pregnancy (2 years ago) and returned exactly 6 weeks postpartum, which makes me wonder about hormones.

Also, the border of my lower lip is very dry and cracks easily, and I sometimes get very painful sores on the back of my tongue at the sides, with deep cracks along the edge of my tongue. Over the last couple of days the area around my anus has been getting a similar itching and scaling redness.

Hi - it feels like my post might have been lost in all the new posts. You mentioned that two remedies show up very strongly for my case. Could you tell me what they are and I can do some more reading?
I have been in pain for so many years, it's frustrating to be so close to a solution and not be able to work towards healing.
