Strep Throat - 3 year old

Hello, I would like to know if there is any remedy for strep throat. My 3 year old got it few weeks back, looks like its back again.He is having continuous temperature. I do not want him to be on antibiotics every time. Please let me know both prevention and cure of strep throat in kids.
