5 yr old - Sour Throat & Caugh

My 5 yr old daughter usually starts with Sour Throat/Caugh and ear infection after a week. I give her prescription caugh medicine in the night so she can sleep. She attends full time pre-school 5 days a week. Very active and smart.

I took her the doctor couple of days ago and she didn't have any ear infection yet. Her chest was clear. No fever until today. But she has been getting ear infections frequently. In fact, since March 1st week, she has been on 3 different antibiotics and she took Bactrim for the past 7 weeks. This was prescribed by her doctor to get rid off fluid in her ear. Now the fluid is cleared but I am afraid she is going to get another ear infection and possibly a visit to E&T specialist.

Is there any Homeopathy medicine available to take care of throat infection to avoid ear infection later on?

We haven't tried Homeopathy yet. I am willing to try it.

Thank you very much for your time. Oh..she weighs about 39 lbs.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Bacillinum 200 should help your daughter to increase her resistance to constant infection.

Dose is 4 pellets to be taken just once. Please note however that this remedy may only be taken when she is completely free of any ailment as it has a tendency to aggravate any ailment if it is taken when your daughter is unwell.

Repeat the dose in 2 weeks as a booster.
