Need opinion on a homeopathic supplement please!

http://www.vaxa.com/697.cfm

Does anyone have an opinion on this and whether or not it would be safe or beneficial to take? I cannot find reviews anywhere and was told not to take it with a constitutional remedy or at any other time, but no elaboration. I am trying to figure out what, if anything, in it I should avoid or not. Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This is not a homoeopathic medicine. It breaks many of our priniciples using medicines this way.

All combinations have serious risks associated with them. It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to need all those remedies, for any one person to need them. This means that at least some (probably all) will be wrong and therefore will most likely produce side effects.

They are all deep acting remedies, each one normally prescribed on its own for a person based on their symptoms.

There is NO homoeopathy without the law of similars - a medicine must be prescribed indivually on the basis of your peculiar symptoms. When it is not, it is just a peversion of homoeopathy usually by those who wish to make money.

I would be very wary of this product.

Thank you for your reply, David! I was considering using it for weightloss, but not as a constitutional remedy. I didn't think about the fact that it may have remedies that could produce side effects if they were not that correct ones. I assumed they were such a low dosage. I have used combination-type remedies for flu and acne symptoms, and they seemed to work well. I am confused on one thing...it I know my constitutional remedy, is it the ONLY remedy I will need for anything that may come up (unless my constitution changes?) What about for acute issues like cold and flu, etc? Are you saying one remedy always for one person? Thanks for clearing this up, I am still learning all I can and appreciate the education!

There is not really one rule regarding the 'constitutional' remedy (the meaning of which is not universally agreed upon by homoeopaths). Typically it means that the remedy is given for your chronic state. If you develop an acute (a true acute that is purely related to external causes like an accident or an epidemic) then you may need a completely different remedy. If you have an acute flare up of your chronic state (like migraines, hayfever etc) then most likely the same chronic remedy would be called for.

After time, the 'constitutional' remedy should cure the state that it is given for, and after that new remedies must be called for if more treatment is needed - if the state is not cured, the remedy is not right.

Ok, I think I understand! So, if I have the correct constitutional remedy, that should in theory help me when I have acute symptoms like cold or flu, correct?

Well it may make the suffering less overall as your health would be better, but a true acute would usually need a new remedy that is specific for it. In a true acute your symptoms are different to your chronic ones. A cold or flu may show symptoms of a new remedy or your chronic remedy, it is hard to predict.
