This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
In homoeopathy the medicine is decided upon the time at which the symptoms get aggravated (increased) or ameliorated (decreased)as one of the factors.
Therefore, it is essential to know about it before deciding the medicine. In other pathies I do not know much about this factor.

It is possible that certain times of the day might be inappropriate for applying a remedy, if that time is a normal time when the patient experiences a flare up of symptoms. This would mostly be for acute prescriptions though because the aggravation happens quite quickly.

In chronic cases, remedy aggravations may take several days to appear, so it is difficult to time that to avoid those times.

In children however aggravations can happen very quickly so even in chronic problems for them it might be necessary to look at the timing of the dose.

I fully agree with the opinion of brisbanhomoeopath.
However, it is always preferable in case of periodical fevers, headaches & discharges of any kind like bleeding etc to avoid giving medicine during the aggravation and to be given after the remission has occurred so as to get maximum time for drug to act fully.
