Help - Sulphur brings on hyperactivity in 4 1/2 yr. old

My 4 1/2 yr old son was prescribed 30cc of sulphur 3x a day for 5 days. My son had gotten hives as a reaction to Cefdinir, an antibotic that was given him to clear up his ear infection. Right away the night terrors started but now that they have gone he is extremely hyper. Over the top hyper. He is not acting at all like the boy he was prior to the sulphur. All we have been told is to give him the Bach Stress Remedy and that this will go away in a few months.

Please help!

Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
At times sulphur can make a child hyperactive & restless.
Two doses of CYPRIPIDIUM 30c morning & evening for about 3-4 days will set right the things.
Since he is not under any stress Bach may not work but you may continue if you feel like.

Thank you. We have been very frightened that he will remain this way. How long do you think it will take him to get back to his old self?

Thanks!

You must give a fair chance for medicine to work for at least 15 days. CYPRIPIDIUM is a slow but deep acting drug.
You should also support the child psychologically by encouraging the desirable behavior & IGNORE the undesirable behavior as if you have not noticed it at all. This way he will get the message that my tantrums are not tolerated.

GOK (God only knows). No feedback, as usual.

Majority of the posts here never feed back what happened. Its a shame, so many prescriptions being made and no feedback about their success or failure. It's hard for us as practitioners to learn anything from such cases.

Frankly Dr.Kampson I am getting disenchanted due to this attitude.I am comparatively a new entry to this forum & wonder how you & many other doctors, since so many days, able to sustain the interest. It is really frustrating not to get any feed-back.
In most of the cases when they approach they are so pleading, urgent & also humble & then what happens to all those sweet sweet words.
Anyway, let me see how long MY patience sustains.
