Gastroparesis
I am a 30 year old male and I have been suffering from Gastroparesis for the past 10 years now.I had no previous medical history or family history of any serious illness prior to this.I was a healthy teenager when suddenly one day I started developing stomach problems like nausea, lack of appetite, abdominal fullness, bloating, indigestion. After undergoing numerous medical tests, it was revealed that I had developed Gastroparesis. This is a condition in which the stomach stops functioning properly and as a result food doesn't get digested properly and remains in the stomach for longer than normal, resulting in what is known as delayed gastric emptying.
X rays of my stomach revealed that there was a lack of persitalsis in the stomach and the stomach itself had sagged (distended) into a 'J' shape instead of the normal 'C' shape due to lack of muscle tone and it was retaining food. I tried a number of motility promoting drugs like Metaclopromide, Domperidone, Mosapride, Erythromycin but none helped.
The cause of this illness is not yet known but doctors suspect that damage to the nerve supplying the stomach (Vagus Nerve) is what caused it. I would greatly appreciate if someone could suggest Homeopathic medicine which could help to repair and stimulate the vagus nerve so that it would in turn stimulate the stomach to function properly.
If you require any further information from me, please let me know
Thank you so much

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your case interests me and I must admit that I had never come across Gastroparesis before.
It is a pity that you reported your problem on this forum 10 year too late as this would have contributed to making your case much worse than it was at that time when I believe that I could have helped you and even cured you.
Even at this late stage I feel that there is some hope in helping your condition with Nat Phos 6x (NP) taken after every meal. I would recommend that you take 4 tablets NP immediately after every meal and report your response.
NP is perfectly safe to be used in this manner and it is know to accelerate the passage of food down the gut and you should discover its action within the hour after you take your first dose.
I would also like to add Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.
Please report your response within 24 hours after starting my therapy.
For the record I am copying below my default therapy for Gastritis aka GERD and I would request you to observe the points that I have made with regard to eating and exercise and the intake of water.
I shall copy the therapy I have prescribed to hundreds of patients who presented GERD, the large majority of whom have been cured.
Your remedies are as follows:
Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.
You can expect relief from your ailment hopefully within 24 hours.
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry. Do not drink more that a few sips of water after your meals. This is to prevent the further dilution of your gastric juice which can then reflux into your Esophagus which results in GERD.
It is important that you do not go to bed for at least 2 hours after dinner as food will take about this time to digest and it is best to stay awake and upright to enable your food to digest before going to bed.
No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.
If you suffer from a stomach ache or you feel your stomach puffing up before a meal during the day between meals this is usually due to hunger pains, caused by your gastric juices attacking the inner wall of your stomach. The simple remedy is to eat some food like a biscuit or a banana to keep the gastric juice away from digesting the stomach wall when you will experience a stomach ache which in some cases can be very acute.
You must drink at least 3 liters of liquids, preferably water daily and you must also exercise for at least half hour daily to sweat it out as this is all part of my therapy to overcome GERD.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Liquid Alcohol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

Thank you for your quick reply. I appreciate you taking time to review my case.
I too wish I had turned to homeopathy earlier, but I was unaware of it until a few years ago. It took 5 years before the doctors could even diagnose my condition. After trying a number of allopathic medicines, none of which helped, I started searching for alternative medicines and that's when I came across homeopathy.
I will start the medicines that you have suggested and report back to you.
The problem is that just like you, many health practitioners have never come across Gastroparesis. It is a condition which is common in the Western World (e.g America) but rather rare in other parts of the world that is why it is so difficult to find the cure. Hopefully, the suggestions on this forum might be able to help me.
Thank you

I just realized my problems are gastroparesis and thought I would contact you with what I am learning about it. I suggest you study Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, vascular type, or VEDS.This can be confirmed with a genetic test looking for certain mutated genes. It is a collegn disorder making the stomach and intestinal walls and function weak. Even worse it does the same throughout the vascular system and can lead to early death from an anurism or rupture of the intestions, etc. If you have VEDS you should be having arterial screenings regularly per the Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Society. Their website is very informative. If you have children they may be at risk too.
