Adult female acneDear friends,
My wife is 29 and has moderate to severe acne from time to time as well as high oil production in her scalp hair. Sometimes her facial skin is fine and clear for a year or two, then acne and high oil production for a year or two. She's had some facial hair problems (though not a lot) and having her chins and cheeks treated by laser to eliminate facial hair. She is seeing good results in that part (lasering). However, her acne and oil production still quite noticeable. Our family GP advised that she do a 3-4month course on Diane-35 and her acne and oil problems will disappear. But I'm wary of anyone using these kinds of hormone effecting medications, not just in side-effects but long term effects. My family have been using basic homeopathy remedies for simple ills and would be most grateful if anyone could give us their input as to ideal homeopathic remedies that could care for her acne, oil production (and even hormone imbalance if that is the case!). Thank you for your time, help and concern.
P.s. My wife has used wax for removing facial hair, and I feel the impurity of some waxing products over the years may have contributed to her developing minor infections that caused the acne - but this is just my opinion, I could be wrong. Anyways, she will surely stop waxing now especially assuming when her lasering course is complete and no more facial hair...

The information provided by you for your wife's problem is insufficient as a correct homeopathic medicine can only be selected after the patient in question is profiled in more than one ways. For that please fill in the questionnaire given in my web site and send the replies so that the appropriate remedy can be suggested for her.
