st. jonh's wort

Thank you for your attention. I’m a 62 years old man. I have no one health problem at all. At this moment I’m taking one capsule daily of St. John’s Wort. I’m really ok but I don’t know how long I can take this medicinet. It’s ok to take it for a entire year or could have any adverse effects or contraindication in this case? Thank you again

St. Johns Wort Dosage Suggestions

The suggested dosage for St. Johns Wort is 200 to 1000 mg. of 0.3% standardized hypericin content per day. Start at the lower dosage and work up slowly. Discontinue if there are any apparent side effects. Do not use if you are taking any anti-depressant or anti-psychotic medications without consulting your physician first.
