Dr Sameer -Help For Autistic Sons

Hi! We have 2 sons with Autism, Eldest is 18 yo and our 3rd son is 15 yo. The eldest ,Alias,is high functioning whereas Imran, is more severe & does not have any speech although he can say a few words (not very clear) but he does try sometimes to say some words. :)
When I was pregnant with Imran I had some bleeding at abt 4 months pregnant. I had 2 other toddlers at that time so I was carrying my little boys a lot and there was a bit of bleeding in a small area where the placenta was attached to the uterine wall. Other than that, my pregnancy with Imran was the best out of all 5 kids.
Other milestones, except speech was normal. He started walking at 7 months, which was pretty early. He responded well when we called him, claps when we sing songs, do the actions and rock to the beat when we sang twinkle twinkle little star!
I noticed after his immunization series at 15 months , MMR, DPT, Polio, Hep B, Hepetitis, he started to be very withdrawn and quiet and played by himself.
We already had our 1st son diagnosed at this stage (Alias was abt 4 yo, this was in 1997) - never occured we would have another!
Imran's toddler years were pretty ok he was not as hyperactive as his brother. But he did have quite bad temper tantrums.
He had early decay of his milk teeth. Food wise he doesnt like 'soft' foods, he loves potato chips & fries, rice, noodles, chicken, He loves spicy spicy food.
He loves to pick on his scabs till it bleeds. He loves to play with his saliva, rubbing it on his skin. He had several periods where he loves to play with water, cream, shampoos etc.
His current obsession is always going to the toilet, like 3-5 times in an hour. He does pass urine at all the times he goes, mayb not as much as the first 3 times. This is our current challenge. He gets very very upset- hits out, scratch, pinch at us if we say No.
He was on incontinence diapers for bedtime ( from 8-9 yo)
When he was younger falling asleep was a problem but he sleeps through once he falls asleep. He loves to wrap his whole body with the quilt and you can only see his handsome face when he sleeps.
He drinks a lot of water. He has eczema on his little toe at the moment.
He had accidentaly drank termite poison- where someone had placed it in a Sprite bottle! He was hospitalized and was strapped down as he was pulling the tubes and IVs. He didnt sleep for 4 days after that incident.. Became very angry, sweeping everything off the tables and counters. He went back to wearing diapers as he couldnt control is BM. It took him 2 months to get better.
The homeopathic remedies he's taken so far are- Bell, Phos, Nux Vom, Sulphur. One remedy he took that had very severe skin reaction was Tarentula Hisp.
Imran is tall and thin. He doesnt like to take any liquid form of medication, drinks water and sometimes Coke. He doesnt eat fresh fruits but loves dried fruits- figs, raisins, mango.
Family history- grandparents- hypertension, diabetes, heart. Parents- eczema. I had pre- eclampsia during my pregnancy with my 2nd son. (Imran is 3rd and we have 2 girls- 3 boys , 2 girls)
I started giving him Carcinosin 10M - once a week in granules form.
I will post another forum about our elder son next.
I really do hope someone can help us.
Many thanks & God Bless - Liz

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I will go over this and respond in a day or 2. But please do not give any further homeopathic doses in the meanwhile.

I just wanted to add that he doesnt like loud noises and certain music. But recently started enjoying listening to music on the ipod with the headphones.
He does jump about and flap his hands a lot.
He is very good at puzzles and he is super strong, not even 2-3 grown men can hold him down.

'He loves to pick on his scabs till it bleeds. He loves to play with his saliva, rubbing it on his skin. '

---> Where does he pick his skin?

When was the Carcinosin dose given ?

Do you know why this is the case, that he doesnt like to take any liquid form of medication?

Hi Dr Sameer,

'He loves to pick on his scabs till it bleeds. He loves to play with his saliva, rubbing it on his skin. '

---> Where does he pick his skin?

It's actually everywhere when there is a scab. Right now there's a scab formed at the corner of his mouth from a pimple and he's been picking on it.

When was the Carcinosin dose given ?

I started giving him the Carcinosin 3 weeks ago on a Sunday and then the week after that. Only 2 doses. The difference we have seen is that he is more involved in things, not hole himself up in the room. He has started getting interested in the computer, wanting to play the online games. Not so angry too.

Do you know why this is the case, that he doesnt like to take any liquid form of medication?

We really do not know why. But he tends to 'sniff & smell' whatever food or drink. We have never given him any liquid medication except the homeopathic granules.
The only time he took conventional medication was when he had the poisoning case and the hospital gave him to neutralize the effect of the poison but this was 2 years ago and he has always refused to take liquid form of medication since very young.

Hope this helps. Thanks Dr Sameer.

Hmm.. since Carcinosin has given some benefit, we should wait for atleast 2 more weeks. Do not give any more doses, as 10 M is a very high potency, and does not bear much repetition.

Please update in 2 weeks. If things don't improve further I will advise another remedy.

Yes will update you further.

I just wanted to add another behaviour he's been having, this is even before Carcinosin, he will suddenly cry, like really cry - sad, melancholic kinda way. He will close his eyes and ears with his fingers. Sometimes consoling him works. I dont know what triggers it off but Imran is like that happy and chill one moment and the next he can get either upset, very affectionate or crying.
