The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Restrictions in eating during Homeopathic treatment.

Dear Doctors on forum, I would like to seek your valued opinion on the topic of Restrictions in eating during Homeopathic treatment.
In my last 45 years of practice my observation is that in either case where the restrictions were followed or in some cases not at all followed the cases have responded equally well when the right dose & drug was given.
Of course, a good gap of at least 1-2 hrs after the dose is given is a must, but even the tobacco chewing, smoking & drinking has never been a hindrance in recovery in many of my cases. When we are talking of homeopathy as a system based on vital energy of higher order where is the scope of interference. It is like trying to compare between a bullock cart V/s Aeroplane (homoeopathy). With due respect to the writings in orgnon I would certainly like to get enlightened, by our respectable doctors on forum, with their valued opinions based on their own experiences.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have also found this over the last 20 years of practice - non of the supposed 'antidotes' ever stopped a patient from curing. I have heard this same thing echoed by the colleagues I work with and socialize with here in Brisbane, I heard this point made by my lecturers when I was studying, and I have heard it said at seminars by very prominent homoeopaths.

While I greatly respect the Organon, and follow Hahnemann's guidelines very closely, one also has to remember that he only had about 50 remedies or so. He was not prescribing the simillimum in every case. His experience of case-management and long-term cure must be have been influenced by his needing to manipulate this small group of medicines. I mention this because my experience is that the partial similars are much more likely to be upset by outside influences, than the simillimum itself, which is very stable and difficult to budge.
