Does homeopathy work for everyone-Brisbane homeopath
My 9 year old son and been under a homeopath for 8 months now for increasing asthma and eczema . We have been through about 6 remedies and now his asthma attacks are getting more frequent, eczema worse and now has food allergies(reacting to any preservatives). Is it possible that the wrong remedies have made his symptoms worse?
Is it most likely we have not found the right remedy yet or does homeopathy not work for everyone?
He does not have any behavioural problems so it has been difficult to see if the remedy is working only until we have a another asthma attack.
I think she is a good homeopath because she has always been spot on with my daughters remedies.
thanks

Well it is hard for me to offer an honest answer to that - does it work for everyone obviously no. Can it - well my belief is yes, but I suppose nobody could ever really know that for sure.
It is not an uncommon story to hear though, that a patient has moved from one homoeopath who was struggling to help them, to another who gets a wonderful result almost straight away. Or for a patient to travel from homoeopath to homoeopath getting poor results, only to hit on a homoeopath with a different methodology and training who is able to find the solution. This leads me to believe that homoeopathy is only as good as the person applying it.
It is hard to judge what is happening with your son without examining the case and history of remedy reactions. There are lots of reasons why he may be getting worse, although it is clear the correct remedy hasn't been found yet.
What does the homoeopath say about the lack of progress and the worsening of his condition?
