Pain, swelling (recurrence?) and low-hanging testicles after varicocele surgery Page 5 of 7

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I'll find it! (My general feeling in the area is of warmth, but the pain feels cold.)

I thought of something, during a period of stress about three years ago, I became immensely sensitive to wearing clothes, and I had to buy new, baggy and supersoft t-shirts.

It has been much the same after the surgery: baggy, soft clothes, preferably no clothes at all.

I think I can describe the weird sensations a little better. They are not unlike the feeling of being operated on, on local anesthesia, not feeling any pain but weird, dragging, tingling, itching feeling. It is a little like that, coming from scrotum, and incision area, spreading outwards, to pelvic area, legs, abdomen, arms, fingers, all skin area.

Hi again, I did the online self-diagnosis and it suggested Pulsatilla Nigricans. Just thought I let you know!

David, I will be in London tomorrow overnight so I can probably pick up the pills then, are there any other pills I should pick up while I'm there do you think?

Also, have booked appointment with homeopath here in town, seems serious enough, member of both national association of Swedish homeopaths http://www.homeopater.se/ and Swedish academy for classical homepathy http://www.sakh.se and she is the dean for a school for homeopathy http://arcanum-homeopati.se/2011/07/birgitta-williams-rektor....

Hi David,

Didn't get around to picking up the pills while in London, and have not ordered them or visited homeopath here in town yet. Truth is I have been feeling depressed and have not had the energy. A new, bigger hospital have taken over my case, and there will be a series of tests and then maybe another attempt at treatment (surgery or 'embolisation').

I will try to get the energy to get in touch with the homeopath and order your pills.

Thanks for all help so far.

I might add that this more depressed state (and not as anxiuos) started when I on the doctor's recommendation took one (1) pill of an antidepressant I had not tried before.

Still haven't ordered pills or seen homeopath: absolutely no money and still depressed.

Thought I just add that I've been having tinnitus for the last 2 weeks or so. Might be the stress? Thought I let you know.

Best

I am not sure how to help you at the moment. This distance and your issues getting remedies is quite frustrating.

The state is moving from the physical location into your deeper self. I think it would be prudent to retake the case to see how best to proceed.

Can you describe more on the emotional and mental stuff you are experiencing now?

Why are you avoiding your friends?

Even without your answer, this is leading me to a deeper remedy for you.

Can I ask what your sense of hope is like? How do you feel about your life continuing this way?

Ok this decides me on a remedy. The state has become very deep - the remedy you need is Aurum metallicum 200c.

The ledum was based purely on a physical prescription, but your problem has become far more pervasive than that now. It has activated your miasm I believe. It requires a much deeper prescription.

Aurum also happens to be a remedy for any disease of the testicles, so it still fits even that part of your problem.

I am sorry to represcribe, I know that money is short and I don't want to burden you financially.

I'll order it from London! They have a mail policy that makes a second order free, so is there any other prescription you would like me to order? I can have the Aurum and another bottle for the price of one.

axel lambert last decade
Hmmm...I can't really see another remedy - maybe you could get Aurum 1M as well?

Aurum 200c and 1m received in mail (and Ledum). Same procedure as with Bellis perennis?

yes make up the dosing bottle for 200c, one dose intitially in the same way (2 hits, 1 drop, 1/2 cup, stir, 1 teaspoon). Let me know aftar about 3 days or so how you feel.

I just wanted to mention a relatively recent symptom that really worries me: for the last 3 weeks I've been having tinnitus in my ears (worst in left ear). 20 years ago I had severe tinnitus due to playing the drums in a band without earplugs. That disappeared after a year following homeopathic and other treatment. This time it is not from loud noise, but from... what? Stress? Medication? Hitting my self in the head (I've stopped)? All the above?

Given the tinnitus, is Aurum 200c still the way to go?

just bumping this

It doesn't alter my choice of remedy no.

One more thing: I've been highly recommended by my GP to take a SSRI antidepressant, and I'm beginning to think he is right. This leaves me with 3 choices:

(1) Take the SSRI and Aurum simultaneously.
(2) Start taking Aurum; then later start with SSRI.
(3) Start taking SSRI; later take Aurum.

What are your thoughts?

Once you start antidepressants, it will change everything. It may alter the remedy you need, create side effects, and will create dependence. Such a path has dire consequences, and should not be taken lightly.

Aurum is one of our most useful depression remedies, even up to suicidal feelings. I would suggest starting that first, as there are few consequences to using it, and the benefits (not having to go on to psychiatriac medication) are huge.

However, if you feel you are seriously at risk at this point of doing something to hurt yourself, then do whatever you must to keep yourself safe.

Followed your advice. Second day after taking Aurum, feeling strangely better.

Excellent. Keep me informed on each day's progress.
