Patient ID: Terri
Sex: Female
Age: 26
Married

1. Describe your main suffering?

I've had a re-occurent yeast infection for the last 12-18 months. I have been battling a mild one for a year prior to the worsening symptoms. Also unable to conceive for the same amount of time.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

Lower back pain, unable to conceive, general joint aches, low/no sex drive.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Severe discomfort, anxiety, mild depression, denial. I'm trying everything I can possibly think of to cure myself! I think I am driving myself mildly crazy trying to deal with this problem!

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Severe itching followed by blisters and open wounds. Nothing oozes or has any pus. Almost resembles diaper rash. Mild bleeding to the skin. Mentally, depressed that this is not going away.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

Approximately 12-18 months ago. No major medical events in that time. Before that, years of chronic sinus infections with multiple rounds of antibiotics.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

Evening/ Early morning

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

Heat/any sort of moisture make it severely worse. Dryness and cold make it better.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

I do notice that the symptoms seem to intesify as my cycle comes and goes. 1 week pre menstration rash seems to get worse and during menses intesifies ten fold. Mildly subsides week after menses and then begins all over again.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

Better during cool, dry weather. Even during winter when cold outside, still have symptoms when warm indoors. Warmth aggervates.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

Mild mannered, mildly moody during flare ups. Can take charge of situations, problem solver. Not quick to react to a situation.

Calm. Love thunderstorms. No mental changes.

So today is day 15 post taking Calcarea Carb. I have noticed about an 85% improvement. However, I recently began my period and all of the same yeast like symptoms came right back as if they were never gone. Do you think this will be something I have to take monthly? Or is it maybe not the right remedy?? I was extremely impressed that my symptoms almost completely disappeared. I forgot what it was like to be normal... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you, God bless.

Hello, reporting back after another 15 days. The main problem of severe itching has resolved approximately 75%. It still worsens around the time of menstruation. I have continued to expierence being gassy all the time. I also still have not been able to conceive, and continue to have lower back pain. I have had lesser cravings of salty foods but still have adverse reactions to dairy products. I have also been EXTREMELY tired lately. I can come home and sleep for 3 hours and then go to bed 3 hours later and sleep through the night as if I did not take a nap. My menses have become irregular while on this regiment. Before I began, they were like clockwork 26-27 days. Now it has happened twice where they have been 32-34 days. I have also had one month with spotting between menses. Thank you for all of your help!!

Hello again. Lycopodium seemed to help A LOT! I now only had mild itching 2 days before my menses began. It is hard to say if the fatigue has lessened or not because I have not reached the period during my menses in which that usually occurs. The gassiness has stayed the same. Also, I still have not been able to concieve. Do you think that this problem is at all related to my infertility issues? Just wondering if they could be connected. Thank you. God bless

Hello
So I would say that my major complaint of mild itching has improved 95%. It still occurs a few days before menses and last throught the menstrual cycle. Overall, I have had great results. My next question is, can homeopathy help infertility??

Thank you!
Terri

All homeopathic remedies are expected to work to make all health conditions better. The remedy selected on the basis of totality of symptoms causes overall improvement in health including the core areas like fertility. Pulsatilla is an accomplished remedy for female health (of course when symptoms agree).
