Question for Tracy, Ashfaq, Girilal and others. Can principles of Isopathy as in potentising of ones own fresh blood to potency of 200C help in correctng autoimmune system disorder like Crohn's disease (CD)?Maxmug

I have never seen anyone cured from potentizing their own blood. I have seen many patients who were given such medicines by naturopaths - potentized blood, hair and urine being the most common. The patients often reported feeling generally better, but no symptoms changed.
Isopathy means using something that caused the problem - so unless your blood is the problem, it is unlikely to help.
We actually have a remedy made from blood - it was made from the blood of someone with HIV, and has a whole proving associated with it. The fact that they had HIV seems irrelevent to the symptoms produced - blood actually has a 'state' so to speak, and anyone with this state will respond to potentized blood (no matter who it was from).

AA) Thanks Brisbanehomeopath, that's logical. What u r saying is if say HIV was caused by infected blood entering ones body, then we could use potentised, infected blood to counter the diseased flowing in the body. So coming back to the case in point, it means one needs to know what exactly 'triggered' the auto immune disorder in the first place. Whether it is a virus, or food or the mind or plain hereditary..Am I thinking on the right track?. Can u share any experiences,suggestions or recommendations for treatment of above disorder? Thanks much.

Of late European homeopathic manufacturers are distinguishing between 4x and 8x potency of same drug, say Argent Nitrate for treatment of 2 different diseases.How does the manufacturer know or justify the correct potency for the ailment. Are their high tech instruments or aura machines that help establish the correct potency requirements? Thanks.

Homoeopathy doesn't concern itself with 'causes'. That path leads to Allopathy. We concern ourselves with the observable reaction of the body and mind (the symptoms).
There is a difference between a cause, and a trigger. You may have an allergy that is triggered by dust - using potentized dust is not Isopathy and actually is unlikely to help you at all. Your allergy, however, may have started around the same time you had a bad reaction to Penicillin. In such a case, the potentized remedy made from Penicillin may help.
It is important not to just theorize about causes, but to know definitely the substance caused the problem (was the beginning) before using a remedy made from it.
In terms of the potency selections - they are making it up. There is no such machine or method for determining the right potency for a disease. It is done partly by the skill and experience of the homoeopath for that person, and partly through trial and error.
