Forehead injury.

Hello,
Yesterday night my dad (67 yrs ) accidently hit his forehead to the wall while leaning. As a result of which the small area (the size of a coin) above the left eye brow ( where some veins are visible) got the shape of a small ballon like structure, this may be due to the impact by which the head banged to the solid surface. There was no bleeding.
I was asked by dad to give him Arnica 200 1 drop in 3 sip water and a small amount of arnica ointment was applied on the effected area on forehead. by morning the effected area got flattened by 85%.

Hope the line of treatment is proper? If any other remedy which can be administered during such accidental injry in head area without bleeding please do let me know? In this particular scenario patient was very much active, if in case the patent faints there it self then what medicine can be given to handle such sought of situations.

Please advice / guide .

Regards,
Nikkie.

You now need to give your dad Arnica 6c in the Wet dose thrice daily.

Arnica 6c will help to drain the congealed blood which appears blue under the skin.

You did right by giving him the 200c in the Wet dose as requested by him.

In answer to your question about the patient losing consciousness the scenario is quite different and it will be necessary to rush the unconscious patient to the nearest hospital ER.

Hi Nikkie
This is good advice.
If problems persist after a head injury, particularly pressure headaches I recommend Nat sulph 30c.It will work even many years after the original injury.
Hope your father makes a swift recovery.
Wishing you both well

I am copying below my email of July 14 where I prescribed Arnica 6c for your dad. You have acknowledged it and I note from your last email that he is still taking Arnica 1M which cannot help him in the same manner that the 6c potency can.

It is up to your dad to make up his mind if he wishes to use my therapy or otherwise.

What your dad has done is fine and the results are there.

If and only if he ever develops headaches or any mental symptoms, nat. sulph. as advised by mary would help.

Hi,

Head injury refers to trauma of the head. This may or may not include injury to the brain. However, the terms traumatic brain injury and head injury are often used interchangeably in medical literature. Head injuries include both injuries to the brain and those to other parts of the head, such as the scalp and skull.

Dear Nikkie,

I am really sorry to know about your father's injury. May God The Almighty bless him.

For such injuries, I have been giving Arnica 200C + Ruta 200C with very good results.

Again, many prayers for your father's speedy recovery.

Regards
Nawaz
