Scalp sweat while eating hot and spicy food

I have scalp sweating problem since along time.
This happens when ever I eat little spicy food.

I have filled the questionaire. Please help me.

1. Describe your main suffering?
I have scalp sweat problem while eating since nearly around 13 years from now.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
I have acidity problems both upwards and downwards. Heart burn and dry eyes.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
I feel some nailing pain on top of the head (just to the sides of the center of head). I feel like pressing my neck against that area, one side

usually either left or right. This happens if I look in to my compter for long time and work is not moving well.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
Usually it happens mostly while eating so I feel embarrassed. I am not a good dancer, but I afraid of doing so atleast for formality because sweat

comes easily from my head.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
Since my childhood I am not very open. May be due to a few poor conditions at home I have become very anxiuos in my life for success. I know that my

father will not pay more for my studies so I worked hard and got state rank in my 10th class. After that I was not much successful, so that made still more

anxiuos. Then onwards every thing started looking very hard for me.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
Night I am unable to sleep well and morning nausia.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
I get cold very easily with dust, pollen and cold weather. My hands get colder eaily more than others if I sit in a cold room.
If I deep breath for some time, my nostrils get blocked.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses

(in females)?
My main problem is Head sweat while eating even a little hot or spicy food.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
My main symptom (Head sweat) doesn't have any relation with weather. I get sweat even if I eat in a comfortable A/C room.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing,

Irritating, Lazy etc.
If there is any problem mostly I feel it might be due to me. Always work for perfection and expect the same from others. Feels nervous in a lot of

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No. I don't like if others console me. The other way round is also true. I feel bad to console anybody if their relatives die. I feel they

might be more sad if I console them.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
I am a software professional. The reason for my dry eyes problem is my work nature. I have to work in front of a computer for long hours. If I don't

watch TV or computer for a few days I feel a bit normal, but my sweat problem (While hot or spice)is always there.
I get sweat while cooking spicy food by smelling it.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
Ans: I have nail biting, inner cheek biting, lip biting habits. Some times if I try to control one habit the other habit aggravates. This happens when ever

1) I am working some thing but has to be on hold for some reason
2) Think more about a pronblem. If I am in progress of any activity I feel little relaxed. As per my observation on that day my sweat (while eating)

will be a little less compared to other days.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
I am the youngest in the family, but I started doing job before my brother. My father is a private employee. In childhood I used feel like 'What

happens if some thing happens to my father. Who will take care of us. like that...'. When I am grown up and started earning, it became responsibility

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
Insecurity is my main fear. I always prefer to stay with my mom and dad but since childhood we are middle class. Just to see them happy and take care

of them I am in USA since a few years. Most of the time I get dreams like 'Some examination is going on... but I am not attending it and suddenly realized

that the exam time is over', 'I am hanging from the peak of a hill and screaming (Fortunately dont scream out :))'. If I wake up a bit early in the morning
and sleep again I am sure to get a bad dream some thing like the above.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
I would like to have south indian style spicy foods.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
Except indian style food I can't take others much... especially bread items.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
This is topic of this problem. My scalp sweat is profuse while eating even a little bit of spicy food. If the spicy food is hot it still aggravates

the problem. Others can easily recognise my sweat, that makes me more embarrased.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
I have the usual habit taking 1 or 2 glasses of water in the morning. I could say bowel moment is not so free, but If take water and walk for a while

it is normal. Recently I had problem with hemarroids. My cousin gave me some homeopathy medicine. I dont know the name but it worked pretty well.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
My sleep is not normal. I am not sure whether due to dry eyes or any other problem, I don't feel very soothing or sleepy in my eveys when I go to

bed. Yawning on the bed or feeling fresh and not getting sleep. If I am very anxiuosly thinking of a problem or thinking of getting early in the morning I

dont sleep well. That causes insomnia and morning nausia. I get lot of sleep in the office.

19. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
Since child hood things didn't work so easily for me all the time. After I got state rank in 10th class, my intermediate was miserable thinking of others...

about what they might be thinking about me when ever I get less marks. At recession time I completed my BTech. Even though I was a qualified person I had to

beg for the job. When I was selected for my first and second jobs the HR persons misunderstood my nature and blasted me with words before a large group of

people. These are only a few to tell... All of these lead me to be very conciuos in life and are preventing to take any risk.Even though I was not getting

any promotion in my previous job (Recently changed job),I stayed with them for seven year, just not to take risk of changing job.

20. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
A surgery was done to my nose to cut the unevenly grown center bone in my nose.
By looking at the other threads in this forum I thought Nat Mur could be best for me. As per the advise I have taken Nat Mur 200CK only 1 day 3 doses.
I did not see any improvements. Then I used Calcaria Carbonia 200CK 2 days 2 doses each day. There was no improvement with these two but looks like

my sleep had gone little more bad. Currently I am using Rehydration by Energetics. It looks like it is causing stomach ache.
Recently I used the Remedy Finder and got Nux Vomica and Petrolium as remedies. When I looked in to the side effects of this medicine I was little scared.
Please let me know if I can use this? If so please let me know the dosage and procedure.

21. What major diseases are running in your family?
My father has seven brothers. Most of them got paralasys in their later ages including my father. To my brother and myself legs get freezed if we sit

on the floor for some time.

22. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
I am normal looking 65Kg and 5'6' and 31 years old. If I don't do any activity like Yoga, excercise or Pranayama my weight will increase easily.

Hello sir,
I used the remedy as per your suggestion but could not see any improvement especially in my sweat, nail biting, cheek biting, lip biting. I strongly believe that if I loose the habit of this biting my scalp sweat problem will be resolved. It is not only just when I am in stress but also when I think something my hands will go in to my mouth.

When I used Remedy Finder I got nux vomica and petroleum as remedies. When I searched through the google, I got argentum nitricum as remedy for such behavior. Could you please let me know if I can use any of those remedies. After I started using the homeopathic remedies I am feeling a bit pain in stomach, weekness in the joints, stiff neck and a bit more distrubance in the sleep especially early in the morning. Could you please let me know if this is the side effect of any thing I used.
Till now I have used:
Nat Mur 200 - 3 doses
Calc carb 200 - 3 doses
Lycopodium 200 - 3 doses

Dear bvkvarma,
It is advised you dont experiment on yourself with self prescribed medicine, it can be termed as risk practise. Avoid this in future.

Looking at your health condition. Why complicate the problem. If hot stuff makes you sweat, why not start taking food at normal temp , avoid spicy stuff. This habit will take care of your acidity problem. Cut down on your salt intake.

1) Let me know your BP reading ?
2) Regarding your neck/head problem, dont stare at computer screen for more then 15 minutes in length, take proper posture while using computer.
Take ruta 200 1 drop in 3 sip water once a day for three days.
3) Let me know your eating habits ie: what you eat drink/ in a day with timing ?

# You have to avoid Tea. Instead take a glass of warm milk only in night.

# Min 3 ltr of water(water at room temp.) every day. Slow down your water intake during night :-)

# 1 hr of exercise which will sweat you every day.

No other medicine except the one which are prescribed.

update your progress.
Pray for fast healing.

Hi Nikkie,

As mentioned above I have not used any medicine for my problem after this post. My problem is increasing as time is passing on.

My BP reading is always normal 120/80 and almost never out of range. My BMI is also normal.

I usually take home (typical Indian) food rice, chapathi and curry etc.

I met some of the doctors and as per them, even though sweating is a natural phenomina of the body, scalp sweat is little different.

I am sure I can not experiment with my heatlh so my sincere request to the doctors who is looking in to this thread, please suggest me if you have luck in treating scalp sweat problem for any of your patients. As per my knowledge this is the unique symptom people might have because I have never seen anyone who is sweating like me while eating till now. I almost stopped going to restaurants because of this problem. Please help me.

Hello sir, I have used this medicine as suggested 3 days back. Now I am getting some head ache. Is this expected or related to the medicine? It was little more in the morning. Please let me know if I can use a balm or tablet for head ache while using homeopathic medicine?
