tooth erosion in child

My son (7 year old) was just diagnosed with lack of dentin on his permanent teeth that are coming in (2 upper premolars, 2 lower premolars). The teeth are sensitive to cold and he says they hurt when eating. The teeth are turning gray and have what appear to be erosions on them. He is otherwise healthy with the exception of pain in his right inguinal (hip joint) region and occasional pain in his right leg on exercise. Diagnosed with a virus (unknown) at 2 due to this same joint pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you
