Hi I am a 35 year old female who had an ACL reconstruction 2.5 yrs back. I had a delay of about 6 months from my fall in 2008 and surgery in jan 2009. Doctors had said that i would be perfectly fine and would not have any problems after this. Since last 3 months my knee again became unstable and after an MRI showed me grade II meniscus tear and degenerated lateral meniscus. I stopped excercising thinking that this was due to excessive us however situation has gone worse for me.Had a ruptured bakers cyst and another cyst at the back of the knee. doctors given me pain killers. Do not want to undergo surgery and really really depressed as was a very active female before surgery but feel very dependant now. Pls advice some homeopathic treatment sne kindly guide me on this. Really do want to get back to normal again

Hi Ayesha ,

thank you so much for the prompt reply.
I was actually advised to take ruta G tincture and rhus tox ticture 60 ml 20 drops 2 daily along with ruta 200 4 pills and rhus tox 200 4 pills .I also took the medication of Calc Phos 1 M. Have not really felt too much releif as started it about 2 days back.Just wanted to confirm that would taking the medication advised by you along with the existing medication cause any problem or it would be fine taking it along with the other medication.Kindly advise.

It is a weird thing to take rhus tox Q and rhus tox 200 at the same time. Similarly ruta Q and 200 at the same time.

Similarly Calc Carb 1M was a very high potency looking at the kind of problem for which it was given. Are you self medicating or a charitable homeopath is writing prescriptions for you?

Stop all medication for atleast 1 month. Then try arnica 10M single dose. After that try calc phos 6x and calc flour 6x,5 tab twice daily for 1 month.

I agree withe Kadwa's observation. Beware of high potencies thrown without proper consideration.

Follow the protocol I have suggested and you will find relief fast.

Thank you doctors. Actually these medicines were given to me by a homeopath and were not self prescribed.
Would go ahead with the treatment as advised. Just that i have already had a done of Cal Phos 1 M so can i still have the Cal PHOs 6x . Also do i stop taking the remaining medication.
is there something which you could prescribe for helping heal my meniscus tears as i have read and understood that these bakers cysts are happening due to the tears.I really do not want to go thru another surgery.I am desperate to get back to normal.
rgds,

- Further medication can be suggested only after assessing the response to the suggested ones.
