Dear Pavankn,

Please get the following medicines in liquid dilution:

1) Arnica 200.
2) Arnica Ointment.

>> For your Sprain problem:
1) Take one dose of Arnica 200 in Early morning and before going to bed.
2)Repeat the doses for two days.

One dose means
The medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some three sips mineral water. Mix properly with a spoon and sip up slowly.

>> Before going to bed do the following:
Gently Apply Arnica ointment on the pain area and rub till it vanishes off (please dont force massage). Try to cover the area with cotton bandage to keep it warm.

Please follow homeopathy restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, and no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Do update me on daily bases.
Hope you are not going to take allopathic medicine or any other medicines during the treatment period, unless it is an emergency.

Hello Dr. Nikkie,

There is still some Pain in the Ankle (during walking and getting down the Stairs) . Also, i see some (little) swelling by the end of the day. Shall i continue the Same medicine for some more time ?

Dear Pavankn,

Please continue the doses for two more days. You can dip your ankle in hot water for some time , pat dry it . Then apply Arnica ointment and wray it up with bandage before going to bed (the use cloth bandage is to keep the area warm for deeper penetration of the medicine, make sure the bandage is not very tight) . This will further speed up the Recovery process.

Hi Dr. Nikkie,
I think it may take another week to 10 days for complete recovery of the foot .
These are the Symptoms prevailing as of now ..

1. No Swelling observed
2. Some pain during Walking when the foot is hardly pressed with the floor .
3. No Pain while walking with Crepe Bandage .
4. It pains when i tap my foot with my hand hard .
5. I feel better while walking in the early morning (because complete night i had taken rest by applying arnica and keeping the foot elevated on a pillow .

With the Following Symptoms, i feel it may take 7-10 days (or may be more also) for Complete recovery .

Please Suggest to Continue the Same medicine or buy some others ..
Currently i am not using any other medicine apart from Arnica200 and Arnica Ointment ...

Dear Pavankn,

What did the x-ray reports say? Do not tap your foot hard. Restrict from strainous walk. Realx in between and then continue. Avoid putting any pressure on your foot for few days. Let the foot go in self recovery phase. Yes you are very much correct, you will take another week for complete recovery. For time being Stop Arnica.

Give me update after 1 day.

Hi Dr Nikkie,
X-Ray report Say there is no major injury / Fracture as such. Its a ligament sprain . So, U mean to say I shud only apply ointment and continue on crepe Bandage ?

Dear Pavankn,

Dont take any more doses of Arnica. Arnica is still working in your system. You can continue with application of ointment. Avoid over straining your foot for time being. Hot-Warm water dip for the foot before applcation will speed up the recovery.
