The ABC Homeopathy Forum

scabies for 3 months and counting

I have had scabies for 3 months and tried everything. I used 5 pellets of psorinum 200c 5 days ago along with 2 24hr. permethrin treatments - had some intense itching a couple days later, but to no avail. The scabies are still there. Should I repeat the 5 pellets? Do I need something stronger? Can I bathe with tea tree oil and/or diluted bleach with psorinum?
Thank you for any help.

Thanks for your reply - I'm a 37 y/o female and my main suffering is scabies. I have been prone to yeast infections and itchy ears in the past - I have also always had a small patch of dry itchy skin on my backside. I'm frustrated with this scabies, but at my worst I suppose I sometimes tend toward depression/ loneliness, unchosen isolation, and frustration that my actions are not taking me forward at times. I had scabies for 4 1/2 mo. seven years ago - didn't know what it was and was beyond frustrated and helpless. I'm not like this now due to all of the knowledge on the internet. I got this from clearing away pigeon feathers 3 mo. ago. b/c I originally had bird mites (they're long gone).

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE.

You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide. Do not put all your complaints into each of the 7 questions. Discuss one problem at a time. If you have, for example, a headache with nausea, do each component separately too (what makes the head pain worse or better, what makes the nausea worse or better).

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

9. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
b) Skin colour and texture
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat

10. Give any reactions to vaccines or medical drugs.

The feelings you have (isolation, loneliness etc) will likely be instrumental in choosing a remedy for you. It is of primary importance to fully expand on each of those for us.

to continue with your questionaire -
I'm extremely even tempered- calm but outgoing. a lot of physical stamina, hard working, but no bursts of energy, generous with emotions, need exercise to use up excess energy. sleep is not great. external stimuli - only sensitive to sounds like tambourine, wind chime. Wear ear plugs at night. Periods are heavy,8days, some clotting. some hirsutism (no family hx of it.) I'm brunette, wavy/curly hair, fair skin 5'6. always like to be comforted if I'm down. I used to dread the heat but but cold is probably worse now. I feel better when extremely hot water goes on my scabies patches of skin. Thank you again for your help

I think our posts intercepted at same time - based on the follow up, should I still do the tx. I tried sulfur 30c thrice daily for a few days. Relieved some itchiness but did not take away the scabies.

Kadwa has decided to take responsibility for your case. I am withdrawing from the thread. Good luck Ariella.

thank you kadwa - I had just started the first dose of sulphur - should I start the c.c after? Also, I seem to identify with psorinum personality in my back and forth concern of not having enough monetarily, fear of if I'll have children, get married. have clandestine relationships. More up at night. But I identified with c.c re. food likes and some scoliosis. I'm outwardly reserved at times but definetly not shy. does this change anything. Thank you again for your time.

Should I use a permethrin treatment on the surface of my skin in addition to c.c

ariella last decade
If you have started Sulphur 200, i would like you to complete it's three doses and wait for a week.

It is better not to apply anything externally.

But if you have taken Calc Carb 200 after Sulphur 200, you can't take Sulphur after Calc as that is a prohibited sequence.

Kadwa - I tried what you said regarding the calc carb. - I noticed a difference in my personality (better) after first dosage for the next few hours (which is more than what sulphur or psorinum gave me) but then that was it - maybe slight change in scabies sit. but - I used permethrin out of desperation - helped, but still have it. my case is pretty stubborn (it was the same 7 years ago). Should I be taking a higher dose? Thank you again for all your help

Please wait for few days and if you find that some improvement took place and then couldn't hold, take a single dose of Calc Carb and wait for few days.

If Calc doesn't work you should take three doses of Lycopodium 200 at a gap of 12 hours and report back after a week.

kadwa last decade
Okay, should it be 5 pellets in a single dose

ariella last decade
2 pellets.

kadwa last decade
I'll do that but if doesn't work, lycopodium does not sound like me re. personality. psorinum and c.c are the closest.

Hi Kadwa - I took one dose again 2 days ago and another this morning. No change at all. I'm wondering if I should try the psorinum 200c again but when is the earliest I can do that. Would a higher dosage than 200c be better of either c.c or psorinum - as the others don't match my personality profile.
thank you again for your time.
