Suppressed means conscious effort, so the patient is aware of it.
Repressed means the emotion is pushed into the subconscious. The patient may often be unaware the emotion is there or is a problem.
In terms of homoeopathic prescriptions, I doubt it would make much difference at all if you express it or not. The amount of effort someone puts into denying their feelings relates to the potency, not to the remedy.
