This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would suggest that he uses cantharis 30C. A dose in the morning, one dose dinner/none, and a dose in the evening. A dose is 4-5 pills. Mixed in to a glas of clean water. Or 8-10 granules. Take one spoone of this mixture.

As soon as he feels an improvement in symptoms, he should wait and see. Do not take any more.

If symptoms return, take one more dose of Cantharis. He can take 30C up to 10 times. If symptoms persist, go to cantharis 200C, the same procedure.
Placing the glass with medication in the refrigerator, with a lid / foil, this mix can stay for three days. After this you need to create a new one. Remember to use clean water and a clean spoon.

If there is no improvement after two days, it may be that he needs a different medicine. Please Keep me informed of developments.
Thank you.
Parakletos.
