Tissue Salts and mixed messages about their use

After doing a fair bit of reading and research, I find myself none the wiser as to the proper use of tissue (cell) salts.

Main questions remaining are:

1. Can I take different tissue salts together and still get benefits from each one of them (I'm talking taking individually prepared 6x potency salts, and not ready made combination, as for example New Era here in the UK);

2. When it comes to treating chronic cases, some experts insist that tissue salts are completely safe and there's no such thing as overdosing, and that it is therefore completely safe to take them for at least 3-6 months.
Others warn about the absolute necessity to dose carefully, especially when it comes to the long-term use.

3. Can tissue salts be antidoted in the same way as homeopathic remedies?

All advice, experience and suggestions greatly appreciated,

Olga

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
1. Can I take different tissue salts together and still get benefits from each one of them (I'm talking taking individually prepared 6x potency salts, and not ready made combination, as for example New Era here in the UK);
Ans: It is better to take tissue salts that are indicated in your case instead of taking a general combination.

2. When it comes to treating chronic cases, some experts insist that tissue salts are completely safe and there's no such thing as overdosing, and that it is therefore completely safe to take them for at least 3-6 months.
Others warn about the absolute necessity to dose carefully, especially when it comes to the long-term use.
Ans: There won't be drastic effects from overdosing as the tissue salts are generally taken in low potency like 6x potency. It is better to restrict the intake of tissue salts to twice a day if it is taken regularly for a long period. One should wait for a week after taking tissue salts for 3 weeks.

3. Can tissue salts be antidoted in the same way as homeopathic remedies?
Ans: Silicea and Natrum Mur have antidotes. Other cell salts need no antidoting.

Thanks, Kadwa, most appreciated.
I am presently taking 3 individual tissue salts - Calc Flour, Calc Phos and Nat Phos - together, 3xday (so 12 tablets altogether each time).
Would you say this was too much/ too often? Now that I know I am not likely to overdose, I am concerned I might underdose!
Lastly, as I have bad teeth history I want to put my sons (18 & 11) who both have already had tooth decay despite regular brushing etc. on Calc Flour and Calc. Phos for a while, but am not sure how to go about it.
Your views very welcome, as always.

Thanks,

Olga

Please take only 2 tablets of cf, cp and np in the morning and evening. You should have a break of 7 days after taking the remedies for 3 weeks.

Your sons should receive only 2 tablets of cp and cf in the morning and evening. Again they should have a break of 7 days after taking the remedies for 3 weeks.

Thank you, Kadwa.

Obviously, less seems to be more with no danger of 'under' dosing!

Hope all is well with you (and all the readers of this post),

Olga
