Baby's cold&congestion
I'm a worried mom of a 8 month old daughter. She keeps getting colds very frequently. I'm worried as we had to give antibiotics 3 times already. Please help me. Here are the details about her. Will there be a permanent solution for her in Homeopathy?1st antibiotic: She had sore throat earlier at 2 weeks of age - she lost her voice , her voice was hoarse.
2nd antibiotic: She had bronchitis at 5 months of age.
3rd antibiotic dose: She had UTI at around 6 and 1/2 months.
I (mother) had UTI in the 8th month of my pregnancy , kidneys infected too.
She always has little congestion with little mucus formed in her nose (not running though) which I suck it out 1/2 times a day.
current symptoms:
-----------------
Now she has running nose. She actually started sneezing and then her nose started running.
It was the left nostril first and little later both started running.
No fever.
Below are the things I observed in her:
---------------------------------------
She is a happy baby smiles at everybody, but she does not stay alone. Somebody has to be around her all the time.
Nasal and throat congestion .
Feels good when held, ok to play by herself when somebody is around
Likes warm milk
Scratches scalp sometimes
Head hot/heat with fever
Not much sweating on the head
Hands and legs less warm than the body
Used to rub back of the head to the bounser/pillow until she was 6 months old
Water flows out easily from the eyes when cries
Sometimes cries as if she has some pain when sleeping
Congestion in the throat
Blocked nose - no discharge - early in the morning and night time - white/light yellow mucus (sticky) ,can say ropy.
Sometimes rubs nose when sleepy
Keeps rubbing her teeth (has 2 bottom ones now) with the tounge
Not a thin baby - average
Stopped eating cereal when sick
Does not eat anything other than bottle food like sweet potatoes, carrots ..peas ok
Stubborn - when I make her eat when she does not want to
Used to cry from around 10pm to 12pm untill 4 months old
Drinks milk in sleep
Throwing up little bit (if not burped) after drinking milk atleast once in 3 days.
Sometimes, does not like drinking milk early in the morning
When constipated - makes sounds until the stool is out .
Stool - normal - constipated sometimes.
Cries - sounds of vaccum cleaner and other big sounds.
Wakes up in the middle of the night (hungry) /congestion
When she is sick, she looks dull and calm (many times), not very active ,
but cries sometimes (when sick)but mostly quite and her eyes not very bright as they usually are.
Cries when sleepy, can't sleep on her own. I've to rock her to make her sleep.

I don't know where do you live and if you can buy nosodes? If you can:
Give his few doses of Psorinum-1m for few days followed by few doses of Tuberculenum-1M for few days.

Kuldeep,
Thank you very much for your response. We are from India and moved to USA. I'm not sure from where can I get Psorium and Tuberculenum.
Our homeopath here has prescribed Pulsatilla and Ferrum Phos. I gave her CORYZA combination of Ferrum Phos, Kali Mur and Nat Mur(6x) before she went to bed.She woke-up with a stuffy nose around 5.30 A.M. Now, the discharge is yellowish - green. I cannot afford the visit to the doctor again as it is $100 per visit.
I read that psorium is for skin problems and usually given to animals. Can you please tell me why you have chosen these medicines if you do not mind. Also I've read 1M is a high dose. Can I give this to a 10 month old baby? Sorry, if I'm bugging you too much. I just want to be comfirtable with the medicines I give her. All that I've used so far is 30c or 6x.
Thank you very much once again.

Pulsatilla in lower potencies looks like the starting point, 30c once a day for 4-5 days or better still, 6x for 10-14 days.
Then watch for a week and get back.
