Taking pellets of Borion or Hyland remedies

When I see a small bottle of remedy from Borion or Hyland, I always see the instruction to take 5 pellets at one time.
What bothers me is that why do the remedy makers does not say the potency of one pellet.
My understanding with homeopathic medical effect is that less is more.
Assuming a bottle of 6X remedy instructs five pellets per intake. Does this mean five pellets in the bottle make one 6X remedy effect? If I only take one pellet, would the effect be stronger or useless?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The change in dose size doesn't change the potency.

I assume that taking 1 pellet and 10 pellets will have different potency effect.
What bothers me is that the bottles do not say how much potency is in one pellet. Instead it only says to take 3 or 5 pellets for one intake.
Why can't Borion or Hyland just make a pellet to have an exact 6x or 30c potency?
I am from an enginnering background so I am not good at accepting gray areas. I appreciate people in this forum help answer my questions.
