Hi Rajive
What are LM1 and LM2 potencies? How do they differ from C and X potencies and how are they prepared. Kindly elaborate. I am B Type diabetic. I like sweets but do not have any craving.
Can Saccharum Officinale help to cure diabetes. Thanks.

Dear;
Since inspite of taking Saccharum O in higher potencies the cravings are coming back,I feel these have some thing to do with your mental state. You mention having been on inti-depressants.I,therefore, advise:
1.Argentum Nitricum 1M-one drop every two days.
2.Hypericum 3x or 6 one drop in a small bottle of water to be consumed in three equal portions every day.
Continue for one week and report developments.
God Bless you.

Hi to all!

First of all i am happy for daneo that he was helped so much by Saccharum as suggested by me.But he also mentioned that he was not cured and now he can feel the return of older symptoms but less strongly.I would say that is why you should keep updating your symptoms so that the homeopath can keep track of the treatment. It is not my fault as perhaps you would appreciate.

Caralyn, you can take one dose of Saccharum 1M and then wait for 15 days. Then report.

Dear Rajiv,

Should I take it under the tongue or would you prefer it diluted?

I am ordering it first thing tomorrow AM.

Thank you,
Caralyn

Take two drops or globules dry on tongue or under the tongue after having cleaned your tongue.

Hello Rajiv,

No it is not your fault, I am very grateful for your help, it has made a tremendous improvement in my life. On my last post some time ago, it seemed like no one was replying back so after awhile I stopped checking.

Since symptoms have returned but definitely not as strongly, would you recommend retaking again? Thank you.

I actually think now it was a problem with my email, not getting an update of a reply, as I just looked, and it does seem that Rajiv responded back to me. I apologize for this.

I do notice that I have always been much much worse during cold cloudy days. In fact this week has been like that, and it is the first time my sugar cravings have been a problem in awhile now. Sunny days are always good for me.

Thank you for the suggestion on Argent Nit and Hypericum. I will look into these.

Hello again,

Just wanted to update that on another post someone mentionned bruxism, and taking Tub 30c for it. I am going to try this, as bruxism is a major problem I have had for years, but did not think there was a cure for it.

My sugar problems really are much less severe after the Sacc, so I think I will wait and see if I will deal with this problem any further. I did read about Argent Nit, and that remedy does sound applicable to me as well. After taking the Sacc, I had the greatest feeling of wellbeing I have ever had in my life. I can only blame myself it the results wore off a bit, as I was not able to completely give up coffee. I do wonder if I will ever have that wonderful feeling again. If any others try taking it, I would be interested to hear the results.

I really appreciate everyone's help and caring on this forum.

Dear Daneo,

You will surely have the same feeling of well being again. For a chronic problem, one needs a slightly longer treatment.Take Saccharum LM3 for a week in the same way as you took LM1 earlier and then report.Forget bruxism for the time being. We will look at it later.

Apart from being worse by cloudy weather, can you give your other symptoms in detail. That will help me to recommend the next medicine after Saccharum.

Dear Rajiv,

While I am waiting for my Saccahrum to arrive can you share whethor or not a characteristic of this remedy is an unsatiable appetite for sweets during cold, cloudy days?

Thank you,

Hello Rajiv,

If you think it is best, I can wait for the bruxism treatment.

I am very busy today, but will write more later tonight, or tomorrow, with further details.

Thank you.

Hello Rajiv, Is it possible to email you or do you prefer to post on the forum?
Thank you.

daneo52 last decade
I prefer the forum as then it gives hope to patients and fellow homeopaths learn from each others' cases. You can take Saccharum LM3 as i suggested. It may help bruxism also.If not, then we will see later. The important point in homeopathy is how a person feels on treatment. If he feels well from inside which includes a healthy feeling, then one or two minor symptoms may be ignored for a while. But if you think that bruxism is your main problem then you may seek treatment for that first. As far as i am concerned, i am always interested in treating the person and not separate symptoms such as bruxism in your case.

Hello Rajiv,

I have gotten the Sacch LM 3. My cravings are really so much better than they used to be-used to feel uncontrollable about once a week or more, now once a month or less. Sometimes I have bad days and think I have made no progress, but when I see the big picture, the change is impressive.
But now with the holidays, it is always hard. When I eat sugar-or have alcohol, it is very hard to stop, and then I will feel very badly after.

The bruxism I am concerned about because the pressure is causing my gums to recede and my teeth to become loose. Some days my jaws will hurt all day. My dentist wants me to have a gum surgery next year to try to save my teeth. This is an unpleasant surgery of several thousand dollars, so I would do anything to prevent it. This is an old problem I have had for over a decade, even before the sugar craving problems began, so I feel frustrated with it.

Thanks for listening.

Dear Daneo:
With your new problem,I am not surprised. The cravings are on account of deep mailese in your system. I now strongly advise you to notice my earlier advice and start taking suggested medication.

This all gets to be very confusing! I am not sure what to do now. Will think about it some today, and go ahead and order the other suggested remedies.

Hello Rajiv,

Today is my second day after taking the Saccharum Off. 1M. I am cautiously optimistic because I am very impressionable and worry about the placebo effect. Either way I do feel more in control, however the day that I took the Sacch. I did eat quite a bit of sweets and was very down on myself. The good news for me is that following a day of overindulging, I always feel awful about myself physically. After taking the Sacch. I can say that I did not feel badly about myself. My emotions seem more realistic, at least for now.

It seems that there is a very limited amount of information about Sacch. out there and I am so curious to learn more about this remedy. It seems that you have a nice insight into this remedy. Would you be so kind as to share what you know so that we can get a better understanding?

Thank you for your time. I will keep you posted as I would like to know what to do if I feel that I am slipping.

Sincerely,
Caralyn

Dear Caralyn,

I am happy to know that you have taken Saccharum as recommended by me.It will definitely help you.My problem is that right now i am very busy and hence cannot give too much time in explaining etc.You can trust me if you choose to do so.If you feel better by my treatment, you will automatically develop that trust.

Dear Daneo, confusion arises only if you allow yourself to be confused.Take Saccharum LM3 for some time and after you have overcome the sugar cravings, come again with any symptoms remaining. It might help bruxism also.If not i will recommend some other medicine later.

Thank you Rajiv,

I have started LM 3 and have good faith.

Will report again soon.

daneo52 last decade
Just to update-no changes yet. Will post in about a week or so again.

How are you Caralyn?

daneo52 last decade
Truthfully I am eating my favorite candies as I am writing this. It is cold outside and I am so comforted by the candies. I compensate as to not become overweight by balancing my week. I have this fear that one day I will not be able to stop, but for now I eat the candy until the desire goes away. Then I am good for a while until the craving/desire returns. I was doing well for three days after the saccharum and I was encouraged. I feel like I am homeopathy proof. I am probably the only believer that it does not work for. I have had some minor aggravations from one remedy inparticular, but other than that it is "hope" and faith that keeps me going with this mysterious science. Thank you very much for asking.

Caralyn

Dear Caralyn,

There is nothing wrong with the science. It is just a very deep science and each individual is a deep mystery. That is how it should be.Isn't it.After all we are human beings.

That you felt better for three days on Saccharum 1M is definitely encouraging. It means that we may try some other potency.I suggest that you make a solution of Saccharum 1M in 500 ml of clean water which should be kept in a closed bottle. Then take one teaspoonful of this solution whenever you feel the craving returning strongly. To make the solution use 4-5 drops or 4-5 globules of the medicine.Apart from the sugar cravings also notice change in your mental/emotional symptoms.
