Arnica 1M
Mum had a severe stroke 18 months ago. She cannot eat, swallow or communicate verbally. I want to try Arnica 1M but Mum is fed by tube (PEG) into her stomach so all meds have to be in a liquid format. either a medicine of a pill that can be crushed and dissolved. Is Arnica 1M available in this format?ellandrose on 2012-01-18

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose was used in the case of this patient who suffered from 3 strokes in 2002.
He first consulted me for another ailment in 2010 for which I prescribed Nat Phos 6x and Arnica 30c.
He is now fully recovered and is back in harness.
I would not advice Arnica 1M in the case of your mum as this potency is far too high for her condition. Start with 30c in the Wet dose which you can send into her PEG in small doses, say half teaspoonful thrice daily.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.
Report her progress in a week.

You can start with arnica 200c in liquid format as it's easy to drop one or two drops under the tongue. Compared to 1M, 200c is a gentler potency to start with.

Thank you to everyone for your advice. I have decided that is it is best to have a Homeopath visit my mum to give her the best results.

I am suffering from neck pain and as per my reports and by doctors i have muscular spasm since 2007. I was told by a homeopathic doctor that i should use arnica 1M twice a day two drops after five minutes interval. I have taken the dose three days ago and repeat it after five days as asked by a homeo doctor. If you have any suggestion please advice.
