treatment for Dementia

my mother is admitted to the hospital since 5th of Jan,2012.she is suffering from acute urinary tract infection since last one and a half years and is throughout under medication,and during last 2/3 days symptoms of dementia is noticeable,as she is forgetting recent activities,some visual illusion,and disability to make natural normal body movements,like seating,standing etc please let me know is there any Homeopathic treatment for this?and how much a Homeopathic drug can help her in this situation?i`m very much worried,she has changed to a different person and i want her back as she was earlier.

Please give her homeopathic remedy phosphorus 30c one pill two times daily for a week and report thereafter.

Thanks for the reply but as she is presently in nursing home and under medical supervision so unless she comes back home i think i can`t apply the medicine.can you please tell me till which stage the medicine will help as she is developing the symptoms since 10/11 Jan 2012.i am very much worried as she can`t even seats up on her own or can`t walk,till one month back she was a normal individual,so can i wait till she comes back home to apply the medicine,will it be too late to treat the problem?the doctor who is taking care of her UTI problem is telling that this thing will be taken care afterwards,but the symptoms are increasing in every hour i think,i`m so helpless...

I have another question.as i was reading on internet about dementia and related illness and found that the disease has several stages and the first warning sign is forgetting names,places,incident etc,but in my mother`s case she is very much strong with her memory,even one month back also she used to remember names or incident more correctly than me but now all of a sudden since last 10/11 Jan 2012 she has withdrawn herself from the surroundings and unable to talk,or move properly and forgetting things.so is it possible to come to this kind of a serious stage skipping the previous stages all of a sudden?or is it something else not an Alzheimer's/Dementia related disease?

In homeopathy what is more important is the symptoms, a patient is having and not disease names. The remedy that has been recommended covers her UTI, her mental state well and has been chosen based on your inputs. I'd expect her to improve overall under this medicine.
