The ABC Homeopathy Forum

adult male with chickenpox

My husband is on day 5 of chickenpox and is suffering quite a bit. I've been giving him rhus tox because his main complaints have been great weakness and overall aching. Now he has headache, pain on moving his eyes, and in the forehead, on bending forward. The itching is intense. No spots have crusted yet, many appear white instead of golden. They are mainly on his scalp (75+), face (80+), and torso (200+).
He is 39. Caucasion with dark hair and eyes. Normally sedentary. He was exposed to our daughter's chickenpox for all 6 days (her case was uneventful).
He's been taking an herbal anti-viral tincture and sleeping a lot. Anything else we can be doing?
