This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you are homosexual, there is nothing that can change that. It is not a choice, not a disease, it is a natural inclination. This is often a mistake people make, and unfortunately some health practitioners make it too. Many healthy and well adjusted people identify as gay.

Homoeopathy can certainly help you deal with the issues that are coming up for you, help you to accept it or to deal with whatever issues arise in your life because of it. I am sure that from a cultural perspective, if not a religious or even family one, you are probably facing a lot of pressure and prejudice because of this. Most of our societies have made it very difficult for anyone who appears different from others. When that difference is not something they can help, when it is a part of who they are as a person, then it is a terrible crime for them to be outcast or persecuted because of it.

Homosexuality is not a disease. It cannot be cured with homoeopathy. There are some instances in our literature where people suddenly developed interest in the same gender which coincided with the development of their disease. They often experienced a kind of bisexuality, which vanished when their disease was cured. There are other instances where the sexual variation is clearly connected to a disease (Sepia';s aversion to men, Platina';s extraordinary sexual appetite, Alumina';s confusion of identity).

However it is quite normal for gay people to begin developing their feelings or interest in the same gender around the agest of 5-7. This is not the same as those strange variations to a heterosexual person's normal sexual appetite that can come with disease.

I have treated many people who identify as gay. The simillimum - the perfect remedy that cured all their complaints - created peace in them around their sexuality, but it has never changed it.

Now this usually ignites a fierce debate on this forum, if not in the community at large, often because there are many people whose religion or culture specifically persecutes gay people. This is not anything to do with the essential truth of homoeopathy - objective, non-judgemental, compassionate treatment that allows the medicine and the patient's own vital force to determine how best to heal. Homoeopathy is not about hate, and should never be. Homoeopaths do not get to decide how a person should be, we are not gods that stretch out our medicinal hands to change people to what we think is 'right' or 'good'.

It is possible some practitioners will start assuring you that there are treatments to 'cure' you, that you are sick or evil or distorted in some way. They will start throwing all sorts of 'antihomosexual' treatments at you - all completely unproven, dangerous, and showing a profound lack of respect for your right to be who you are, to love who you will.

There is no need to believe what the poster who writes long and rubbish posts says. It is a possibility that he himself may be gay and takes pride in his inability to get rid of that state.

kadwa last decade
Doc. Kadwa,
If we think about possiblities, we can also have a possibility that person who wrote the post above this post is a gay.

Pls think twice before you write anything.
You are here to treat people and not to attack people who help others. If you do not agree with thoughts then I think you can just keep quiet instead of using bad language.
You are a senior doctor, and its better if you maintain that image.
Or you can do pranayam for maintaining peace( as u keep on suggesting other patients)

Patient.

Wow, Kadwa, I am appalled by your response in this thread and relieved I am no longer under your care. Why should it matter to you who is gay and who is not? No need to attack another practitioner. And suggesting someone might be gay is not really any sort of insult. People come here to get help and there is more than on practitioner on this forum. Very low blow to try to launch a very thinly veiled attack though. Extremely immature. Now I'm going to opt out of this thread and let them get on with it.

Best of luck, ramsri800!

So Kadwa is the first one to show his hateful prejudice. Interesting I would have thought it would be someone else.

Sri, Kadwa is merely showing himself to be one of those people I warned you about. Follow his advice if you wish, but it will only lead you to harm and despair. You may also wish to confirm that anyone you take advice on prescriptons from, is qualified to do so.

Kadwa, I will always oppose the kind of attitude that encourages this kind of hatred. I tend to support the underdog whoever they are, as my own sense of injustice is affected strongly by any group of people who are marginalized, oppressed, murdered just because they are seens as different. This is one of the most heinous and evil aspects of human nature.

It appears that you are chooseing to align yourself with those people, small minded and full of self-rightous malice. A genuine homoeopath, a genuine healer, does their level best to overcome such prejudices. You merely cripple yourself, both in your soul and in your ability to care for and help others, by allowing such ignorance and hatred to guide you.

I am well aware that many people in the world will hate others for no justifiable reason, and out of that hate the worse possible crimes are committed. It always disappoints and appalls me to see people involved in homoeopathy unable to raise themselves above it, and instead use our medicines as tools to incite or perpetuate that hatred. Anyone who has seen, in person, the effects of the real simillimum on the lives of people, will see how our medicines move people beyond such petty concerns. True health is an enlightened state.

There are many who claim to be able to 'cure' homosexuality. No-one has ever achieved it. Most of those poor people have been dominated, tortured, brainwashed. In the end even if they are forced to be celibate (and this is usually seen as the success), they are miserable people whose tendency to commit suicide increases proportionally to the amount of pressure used to enforce this mind-set on them. It is evil, pure and simple. It is no cure, it is harm, and any homoeopath encouraging the beliefs that lead people to this terrible end should be ashamed.

dr, brisbane, what can I do? suggest me. and pls refer that my 2nd complaint details, pls.

ramsri800 last decade
What is your goal in treatment though? What are you wanting to get from homoeopathy? As you can see from my posts we do not go in to change you, but simply prescribe a medicine that will naturally provoke health for you on all levels.

If your intention is to try and cure being gay, you will be disappointed, and obviously I don't think it is right to lead you on to think this will happen. But I do see a variety of other issues that are certainly appropriate to treat.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
am still waiting for a proper answer. is it treatabl or not?

ramsri800 last decade
I believe you got your answer in the post above you. Being gay is not treatable, and it's not something you should be ashamed of.

If I were you, I would seek psychiatric help, and avoid anyone who says that homosexuality is treatable.

google the 'trevor' hotline and you will get
help from people who understand what you are
going thru.

The patient seems to be of Asian origin. I think 'trevor' will do little help for him.

I cannot make sweeping statements in general because i find both sides liberal and conservatives on shaky grounds and the truth is somewhere in the middle. It's a dividing topic and people need to show some tolerance. Just because a particular sexual inclination could be seen adversely due to religious/cultural reasons, a reverse witch-hunt should not be encouraged.

But from my experience i would say, yes some of the perverted sexual inclinations are hugely benefitted from Homeopathy including Homosexuality.

Edit 1(2019)

A possible case showing where remedies can make an impact on issues relating to homosexuality.

Mr Kadwa. You maybe a doctor.... too many in the sea of doctors. And you are no god. Try to keep a decorum withrespect to people. We do get what what we give, a universal law of karma. Also there was someone in the past on this very forum who abused people eventually when karma took over. So please keep it with sensitivity to all.
