Group B Strep positive

I am 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I just found out that I am group b strep positive. It sounds really serious for the baby, but I've been doing research and it doesn't look like it's very common for the baby to actually get it if you get the anti-biotics during labor.

I am not a fan of ANY type of modern medication, but with an infection this dangerous for babies I will be getting the anti-biotics. This is my third pregnancy/birth and I'm afraid of laboring too fast and the anti-biotics not crossing the placenta in time to reach the baby.

Is there anything I can take before I go into labor and is there anything I can give the baby when she is born to make sure she doesn't get it?

My doctor checked me yesterday and I am 1cm dialated and thinning. I had contractions all last night and I feel like this baby is going to come very soon! I had my first at 35 1/2 weeks and my second at 37 weeks and was GBS negative then.

Fast reply would be great, having a contraction!

Thanks, Cara

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I also have a yeast infection and know that this causes thrush in babies. Is there something I can take now and give to baby as well when she arrives?

Please take a single dose of Pulsatilla 200.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
