cracked edges of lips

i am a boy age 25. my problem is that i have cracked edges of lips.i feel pain on affected area.edges split like cuts and bruises.i have noticed that corners of lips get cracked more when ever i eat warm and spicy food in excess .local homeopath says i have heat in my stomach and he has stopped me from eating hot food like eggs chicken and coffee and tea. kindly suggest me a remedy. thanks
