Nawaz and Brisbane Homeopath please reply - Negative thinking, fear and tension

Hi,
I am 32 year old female working in software industry. For past many months I feel getting tensed, anxious very soon. I have provided lot of information on the thread http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/330460/ . There RP Thamankar and Simone helped me a lot and suggested to get help from you both. Please consider my request. I am posting the details here again

I am a 32 year old software professional. I am very contented with my professional life. I was always a good student, good daughter. I was always a caring mother but not over-protective initially. Sometime back we had bad experiences with my daughter's health for sometime one after the another. Even through that period I found myself to be fine. But now as days are passing I find myself more indulged in negative thinking related to my daughter's health only. I find myself setting patterns like I wore that new dress on that day and then my daughter threw up so now I would always avoid wearing this dress. At times I will try to convince myself for not being rational but few times only I succeed. All my negative thinking is related to her only
Now I feel myself to be overly concerned for her. Everything small thing make be become nervous. Thankfully I do not take any tension for anything other thing in my life - be it professional issues or financial issues. The only thing I am always worried about is my daughter. I am not able to sleep properly. If I do anything for my personal pleasure like reading a book or watching movie - i have a guilt feeling. I feel if I plan for enjoying activity, I will have bad effect on my daughter’s health. I have totally stopped engaging my self into any activity that would give me pleasure. I have built of this belief - like if I do x thing then it will be bad for my daughter. And the list of the this ‘x’ thing is growing. I find myself always thinking negative and at times when I go against them and try to break the belief something bad happens and the negative belief/feeling becomes more strong. I used to be very carefree and ambitious female and now its only about my daughter. In my professional life and other aspects of personal life I am very confident, I know I can do anything. Issue comes when I start relating these to my daughter
I am concerned about hygiene also but that too only for her. For myself or anybody else I not worried about hygiene or anything

I was diagnosed with Hypothyriod in 2010 with TSH level being around 5.5. I took the medicine for around a year. Initially I was taking 25mcg of thyroxine after 6 months the levels did not reduce a lot so doctor prescribed 50mcg. Again when I got the blood test done after almost 6 months the TSH was 5.5 so I was asked to take 75mcg. Before I could start with this increased dose(i took it for 2-3 days only)I had acute Gas problem and I was asked to get some tests done(this was about 3 months after my last blood test)then my TSH came as 0.9 (which is almost at the lower end of the range), this happened last year august time frame. So the doctor asked me to stop the medication and get blood test done in 6weeks. I got blood test done in Dec and the TSH was around 5. As of now I am not taking any thyroid medicine

The negative feelings that I get doesn't make me do the same thing(as washing hands etc) again and again

If I really think about it. I can just track back to my 11th class where I remember I use to follow certain patterns and when I started building up patterns since I was going through a very bad time with my teacher not treating me properly in class. There I use to do certain things everyday. I changed my school after 10th. I was a very bright student with very good rapport with all the teachers.I clearly remember two things : one day while coming back from school I was thinking of something
like if my maths teacher in my old school meets this teacher then he might get a good image of me(basically he considered me a useless student which was not what i was). The next day things went fine in school probably he did not scold me (usually he would pick on me and say bad words in class). Since then I use to narrate the same story on my way back to home so as to replicate what I did previous day

The other thing was(i still follow it) - i ate something in dinner. Next day was my maths paper and this was the first time my paper went very bad. I topped in all the other subjects but in maths could not score even 50%, since that day(almost 15 years) I would never eat that same item in dinner just before some exam kind of thing

By the end of the year I did very well in maths and was his favourite student. I left the story narration activity once I left the school after 12th

After this I remember for any challenging task - be it engineering exam, college exams or job. Whenever I feel stressed because of something I would build some idea that if I do this things will be fine. All this was mostly towards taking away some pleasureable activity from my personal life - like I would give up on watching tv or going for movie for something good to happen. I have this feeling I have to give away something of my interest to earn something else
After the school incidence - i remember experiencing small incidences but the major was the time in previous company. I had a very bad experience with my manager. Going to office was a nightmare for me. Those days I did certain activities like - while walking if I crossed a a stone, something in my mind will force me to go back and don't cross over the stone. But this was a phase and everything was related to my job, when I left that job and took a different one I was totally fine. Even that time when I was going through all this things were not that bad as they are now.Now I have a very carefree attitude in my job. I work fine but I don't get stressed out with things. I am happy that I am able to control my feeling to some extent in work related activities. It was an issue with the job and so the issue went away when I left the job

Now I have started having all this for my daughter and it is getting bad day by day. I have very good family. I am the first child in the family to get as educated as I am. In my relatives and neighbourhood I was always an example of a good daughter and good student. It is just this feelings for my daughter that I am not able to enjoy my life and probably even putting constraints on her as well

To me it feels if there are any issues with things/person for which I am very passionate about I get these kind of feelings. Now the situation is something like - i set patterns I ate this food that day and something bad happened so this food will be totally out of my menu for ever or at least till the time I gather enough courage to break it and I am successful which is rare. So that means these things got bigger in past one year. These feeling were there present in past also but it never took over my life and they were more like phases I came out from most of them. Some things I still follow as rules even today and breaking them is very difficult

Please let me know if I need to provide any more details

Please provide your inputs and help me come out of all this

You have actually presented your case in a manner that seems suitable for my style of case-taking. However, you will need to choose one of us and Nawaz and I do not practice the same way.

Thanks Simone

Thanks Nawaz and Brisbane Homeopath for considering my request

I was suggested to contact you both and see if I can get time from anyone since you both are very busy

Frankly speaking Sir I have no means to decide whom to go with. If I say one name then it will be very random.I don't want to go with any guesses. You both are experts in your areas. I will provide all the information in the questionnaire and depending on the responses, request you to please take up my case, whoever is more into these type of cases

testloa99 last decade
It isn't really a choice I can help you make. You just need to choose one and usually the other practitioners will respect that and withdraw from the case. Two practitioners together does not work very well as there will be conflicting advice.

I will post my intake form as well then.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GIVING YOUR CASE

Go through each problem one at a time giving a full description of what happens, what pains and sensations you get, what makes it worse and what makes it better, the history of the complaint including when it started and what was happening around that time.

Write a separate section for each problem. Cover even the smallest problems you have.

If any of your symptoms occur together, or immediately before or after one another this is important to note as well.

Do not give single word or short sentence descriptions. The more information you give the better I will be able to help.

Do not read up on the remedies and discuss them. Do not attempt to use the Remedy Finder program on this site. Try to keep yourself apart from all the information about remedies on the internet. Such research on your part actually makes it harder to find the right remedy for you not easier.

Whenever you describe a sensation or pain, try to help me to imagine having that same pain. For example, what would have to happen to me to recreate that symptom?

Allow yourself to diverge if you wish. If discussing the problem brings up any emotional or mental issues, then discuss them.

Do not edit your report, except for spelling mistakes. It is important that even if you use the wrong word, you write that. You can correct yourself in the next sentence.

If you have not done this by the time you have covered your problems, discuss the problems you have generally had in your life. What have been the big traumas, the big issues for you? Where have you felt unable to change, where do you get stuck repeating the same behaviours?

Also discuss the issues you might have had in childhood. Talk about your family, your upbringing, your parents. What kind of child were you? What did you fear, what did you aspire to, what do you remember the most?

Lastly talk about the way in which you handle or cope with your problems. What are the patterns that reoccur in your life? How do you find yourself managing your problems, even if it is not successful? To what degree do your problems affect you? How do you think everything will work out in the end for you?
Also answer these general health questions, if you have not already discussed them:

1. What foods do you crave or hate?

2. What drinks do you crave or hate?

3. Does any food or drink have a negative effect on you?

4. What is your sensitivity to the temperature and weather?

5. What is your physical energy like? What activities seem to raise or lower it?

6. What is your sexual desire like? Are there any problems in this area you feel comfortable talking about?

7. What is your sleep like, what problems do you have with it?

8. What issues do you have around your menstrual cycle (if a woman)?

9. What dreams tend to reoccur in your life, or have reoccurred previously? If not a specific whole dream, what images or situations tend to crop up?

There will almost certainly be more questions from me after this to clarify and to explore further.

Thanks Nawaz and Brisbane Homeopath
Since Brisbane homeopath has been taking these kind of cases I will just go ahead with him

Please review the responses:
1. What foods do you crave or hate? - I mostly like spicy food, preferable freshly prepared and hot. At times I feel just before or during my monthly period I crave for chocolates. I don't dislike any particular food. I am pure vegetarian. I used to take non-veg at friend's place till I was of age 9-10. Later I stopped taking non-veg and egg. Recently I took bites of egg few times

2. What drinks do you crave or hate? - I like tea (with milk and sugar), cold coffee(frappacino). There is nothing that I really hate there are some drinks that I would not prefer taking like - pineapple juice or juice/milkshake having strawberry. I do not take any alcohol

3. Does any food or drink have a negative effect on you? - None that I know of

4. What is your sensitivity to the temperature and weather? - If the weather is hot I feel very hot especially my palms and feet. If the weather is cold then feel very cold especially legs, arms, palms and feet

5. What is your physical energy like? What activities seem to raise or lower it? - Energy is average. If I listen good music or if I am involved in dance activities my engery levels go up. I do not like unplanned travels, for me seeing places is good experience but comfort during the travel is most important. I at times get car sickness or bus sickness

6. What is your sexual desire like? Are there any problems in this area you feel comfortable talking about? - No sexual desire usually very rare. I do not enjoy sexual activity more importantly I do not like the foreplay part of it. I am still fine with intercourse but foreplay is something that I usually do not like if prolonged. My lack of interest in sexual activities is one issue of my married life. I am not sure how to develop interest in it, my husband likes everything about it except this and this is one major area where we have clashes

7. What is your sleep like, what problems do you have with it? - I used to have a very sound sleep. Sleep was the one of the most important and enjoyable activity. After my daughter's birth my sleep is not that sound and for past one year I am experiencing interrupted sleep wake up to see if she having the blanket properly, if the room is not too cold and things

8. What issues do you have around your menstrual cycle (if a woman)? - Cycles are fine, at times when I am stressed I get early periods like they start 5-7 earlier. Usually every month the period comes 2-3 days prior to the last month's date

9. What dreams tend to reoccur in your life, or have reoccurred previously? If not a specific whole dream, what images or situations tend to crop up? - Earlier in my childhood I would dream of not being able to reach school for examination. Now many times I see - that I have an exam but I am not prepared for that subject. I have no idea what to write in the paper. Most of the times I do not see anything beyond this. This is something I could recall

I have also answered the questions from Nawaz :
1. ID:testloa99
2. Age:32
3. Sex:F
4. Single/Married - Married
5. weight - 55
6. Height - 4ft 11 inches
7. country - India
8. climate - Bangalore experiences a tropical savanna climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. Due to its high elevation, Bangalore usually enjoys a more moderate climate throughout the year, although occasional heat waves can make things very uncomfortable in the summer
9. List of your complaints - Suffering from negative thinking, tension, anxiety, fear most of the time of the day. All these are related to my daughter. I have provided lot of detailed information in the first thread

10. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint - The issues have increased in past 1 year

11. Diabetic or non-Diabetic - Non diabetic
12. Desire sweets/sour/salt - Mostly I like spicy. At times go for sweets. Very rare for anything sour (don't really like sour things). Felt cravings for sweet sometime around my monthly periods
13. Thirst - Depends more on the weather. I do keep bottle in office and regularly intake water but probaly not more than 8 glasses per day
14. Tongue and Taste - I like spicy and freshly prepared food then snack items
15. Current BP (without medicine and with medicine) - Usually it is normal

16. What exactly is happening?

17. How do you feel? - When I am in office I am feel great. The moment I start thinking about my daughter then get scared thinking all negative things about her.At times i feel things are not in my control
18. How does this affect you? - It effects my life personally. When I am scared all the times for my daughter - i just feel how will let her try new things in her life. I want to be strong and cheerful person for her just like my own mother. It is all because of my parents and especially mother's confidence and support I could be professionally successful. If she had not been that strong I wouldn't have achieved anything in my life - we come from a very poor financial background but I never saw her losing control of things or being depressed with anything. She has always been motivating and showing me the brighter side of things

19. How does it feel like?
20. What comes to your mind?
21. One situation that had a big effect on you?

22. How did that feel like?
23. What sensation do you experience in that situation? - When I start getting these negative thoughts I feel very scared. I feel as if I am falling down

24. What are you showing by that gesture of your hand (Habits or Actions)?

25. Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past? - I haven't taken any medicine for this problem yet. I did mention about my hypothyroid medicine in my first post but currently not taking any regular medication

26. Family Background - In my childhood we financially very poor types, not enough food kind of state. My parents always supported and encourage for studies. They worked pretty hard to give me and my brother good education. Being a girl from a conservative family - nobody would expect to be sent to co-education school, hostel and get a job. My parents never asked me to do household chores forcibly, it was by my own personal choice. They gave me good education trusted me and allowed me to go for all kinds of school competitions. I was an average looking girl with less money. I always knew education and good career is my wealth. I was and am an example of good daughter and student for all who know me. My father is into a job and my mother a homemaker. In her childhood she could not complete her education. She gave her 10th standard exams when I was in 7th standard. My father supported her a lot. My father used to play football and later left it after a knee injury. I have a younger brother who is very cooperative and talented. He is a Chartered Accountant
27. Educational Qualifications of the patient - I have B Tech degree in Computer Science from a reputed college in India

28. Nature of work, what do you do for living? - I am a Software Engineer with 8 years of experience in the industry

29. Desires, likes and dislikes for food - I like spicy and freshly prepared hot food. I am not very fond of sour food. I am vegetarian. In my childhood I would eat and love eating non-veg food and gave up at the age of around 8-9 years. Recently started taking egg in bits so as to give company to my daughter. I like trying new food items. I was in US for 4.5 years and tried all vegeterian food there

30. Name of foods which increase your problem - Nothing in particular

31. Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry, impatient…and so on.. How are you different from other persons, public speaking or not , you can describe all of the details about your behavior, love and affections. - I am basically a person who cares a lot about loved ones and friends and can go on great extents to help them. Earlier I used to get angry very soon but for past sometime I am working on it. I try to relax when angry and find the good that happened in the whole incidence. Earlier I would feel very bad when someone does something bad and keep thinking negative but now I see what I can learn from the behaviour of the person and be calm and be better prepared. I get very angry/irritated with people who say different things infront of different people and get there work done. If I don;t like someone or something I cannnot pretend to like them to please the group. I will rather stay quite and not give inputs. I just cannot stand people who praise everything superficially and then behind the back of the concerned person say all bad things about them. If I decide something then I want it to be implemented right away. Many times I feel I look for affirmation/confirmation of my planned action my closed ones like my mother, husband and mother-in-law. I don;t like this habit of mine. It makes me feel powerless at times. This happens mostly when I have to make a decision. It becomes very difficult to decide even for small things

32. Aggravation (increases-time, season,)& Amelioration (Decreases)

33. Attached here your photographs of the affected area. (if required/optional)

34. Location of the disease
35. Side of the problem (Right or Left), (Upper or Lower part of body)
36. Color of the secretions/discharges e.g urine, stool, sputum, Saliva etc.

For Females Only
37. When is the period during the month approx date? Any monthly cycle issues? Regular, early, late, before problems, after problems, pain, any other discharges? - Periods are normal, this month it started on 9th. Usually it starts 2-3 days earlier than the pervoud month. If I very tensed then periods seem to come earlier as well. I get slight menstural cramps. I used to have a lot and lot of pain before pregnancy. Now I have noticed having leg pains before and during periods. The discharge is heavy on later on the first day, 2nd and 3rd day and reduces on 4th day and totally done by 6th day
38. Are you pregnant? If yes, please give pregnancy start date? Any current issues? - Not pregnant

Please let me know if there is any other information that I need to provide

I forgot to mention couple of things:
1. For me decision making is a very difficult process even for small things I think a lot then set patterns - all this makes me even more confused. After I try to seek confirmation for my decision from my husband, mother or mother-in-law depending on the kind of situation
2. Couple of years back someone told me that numbers 4 and 8 are not very lucky for me - it was in context of some big venture or something but i started taking it into consideration for very small thing I do - be it wearing a dress for the first time or going to some place. I did work on getting rid of this and to some extent I am successful but not fully out of it

HI...I know that I'm not a homepathic doctor or what-not - but have you ever tried/considered trying 'smudging'? It's easiest if I just ask you to look it up on youtube, but the basics on it is that it helps to clear negative energies from you and from around you.

We tried it and we were very impressed and relieved the results were great. My husband was reluctant and he felt a dramatic improvement.

Either way it goes I wish you the best! Take care and Blessings unto you.

How old is your daughter now?

What is it that wakes you up and makes you go to her room at night?

Why do you not like foreplay?

There seems to be an unnatural concern for your child's health and safety. This suggests very strongly to me that Cocculus would be the indicated remedy. However there is also an obsessive or superstitious element here that seems uncharacteristic for that remedy (at least as far as I know).

Answer those 3 questions of mine while I consider this a bit more.

She is 3.5 years old

She sleeps with me. In India generally kids sleep with parents for a longer time. I just get worried about she not having the blanket properly or whether the room is too hot or too cold for her. Before my daughter I used to have very sound sleep. I loved sleeping for long hrs, infact my mother use to feel(and I agree) I do not give enough time to studies because of sleep and watching television. After my daughter's birth initially I would wake up only when she would wake up for feeding or she wants to go to restroom. Now I feel somehow my sleep get interrupted 2-3 times at night when I just see the blankets and all, make sure she is comfortable and then I go back to sleep again. Initially she had an habit of moving over the bed while sleeping once when I woke up I found her at the corner of the bed now she sleeps fine but it seems now it is more of habit for me. Sometimes I do get un-interupted sleep , it all depends on how much relaxed I am from her side while going to bed

I don;t know why I don;t like foreplay. What I don't like about foreplay is when saliva comes in between as in cases of smooch or licking on ear kind of activities. I think this is the thing which I just cannot stand at all. I feel very bad or may be even dirty. I am still fine with other things

Alright, lets start the case with Cocculus indicus 200c. One dose only to begin with.

INSTRUCTONS FOR SPLIT DOSING

Firstly, you need to create a separate dosing bottle. Get a bottle with a dropper, 15-30mls in size, and fill it with a mixture of water and alcohol (5 parts to 1 part). Dissolve 2-4 granules or 2-4 drops of the medicine you bought from the pharmacy into this mixture. Your doses will be made from this bottle.

Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of your hand, or another elastic surface like a book. It should be a firm hit not a tap. 2 hits is enough to begin with, and should not be increased unless it is clear that it is needed. The water in this bottle will 'remember' the number of times you have hit it, so that subsequent doses will be stronger (necessary to overcoming the resistance of your disease).

Place 1 drop into an amount of water - I may start with anything from 1/4-1 full cup (62ml-250ml) depending on the sensitivity of the patient. Stir thoroughly and take 1 teaspoon into the mouth. Throw the rest of the cup away. Wash the cup and spoon in hot water, no detergent, and put them to the side for further dosing.

This is one dose. Repeat doses would be started from the 2 hits on the bottle.

Each step of this process can be adjusted to reduced aggravation or to increase the effect of the medicine. In order to be able to do this, it is important to measure each step (count the hits, the drops, measure the water etc).

Start with 1/4 cup of water.

You can actually find most of your smuding herbs in a health food/grocery store. (I get most of mines from a health food store and I few things from an 'siam imports' store...also I recently visited a 'metaphysics' shop and found a lot of things - but they are pricier)

Sorry, I didn't visit the site sooner, or I would have responded long ago.

Blessings
