stomach adhesions

Hi, I am posting on behalf of my wife who has had two Caesarian sections giving birth to my children. Since these operations she has suffered a lot of pain in the abdomen and after a colonoscopy the consultant said that she had severe adhesions holding her womb to her abdominals, he also said there could be no more I'd due to possible complications. Because of these adhesions my wife has pain during her monthly cycle and also during intercourse. My question is, is there any therapy or herbs she can take which will help to reduce the adhesions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Sorry, it was a laparoscopy not a colonoscopy.
