ankylosing spondylitisI am suffering from anlylosing spondylitis from last 20 years ,which has lead to the fusion of spine in the lower back .which causes lot of pain and stifness and loss of movement.
my RA factor is negative, esr remains high in the range of 50 to 80 .
In the due course of treatment I have been mainly taking homoepathic medicines and painkillers (voveran , piroxicam ,indomethecin ) .
homoepathic medicine some times do give temporory relief which dosent last longer then few days to couple of weeks.
My homoepathic doctor has till now prescribed me causticum ,ruta ,rhustox, bry,selenium in the potency of 30 and 200.
My problem started of may be after (not sure) after reaction to sulpha medicine doctor gave for common cold (in 1989)there were skin rashes on all my body and it lasted for about 2 weeks or so.
May be a year or so after that First my right ankle joint became tender and painful then both the hip joints got involved then the SI joints after that it gradually started upwards till neck .
regarding my symptoms
1) I still cant make out exactly what makes it worse or better???
2)I am sensitive to criticism.
3)sleep gets disturbed easily due to changes in temperature or during changin of seasons.
4) May be i feel better during winter when i wear woolens may be by body warmth.
5) I like to have non vegetarian food items , spicy . Cant eat bland food , i cant have translucent onions in food items (like in daal or in vegetables).
