What potency would you prescribe? need doctor's advices

My homeopath prescribed:
1st day Causticum 200ch.
2nd day Causticum 1M.
3rd (and all next days): Causticum 12ch.
Dont you think that my case needs higher potencies (10M etc.)?

Sounds like that practitioner has no idea what potency you need, so just giving as many as they can find. Interesting 'shot-gun' technique. Hope it hits you.
Why do you think you need 10M. That is an unusual potency only required in very specific situations.

Because I'm somehow confused.
I thought that higher potencies go in a deeper level (emotional/mental), so as my problem is emotional/mental or some toxins on my CNS, higher potencies would 'hit' that deep problem.
Greek homeopaths usually prescribe in the same way.

30c has plenty of emotional and mental symptoms in it. The potency needs to be selected for the individual patient or situation.
Most, if not all, sick people have mental or emotional disturbance that goes along with their physical discomfort. This in itself does not tell you what potency they need. Each potency level can relate to intensity, or to depth, or to how the patient's disease is expressing itself. Potency can be determined from the kind of dreams the patient has, by how much denial is present in the case, by how much repression. Potency may also be chosen on the basis of the patient's sensitivity, the amount of medical suppression that has occurred, and how much tissue change is present.

So, that could be mean that Lycopodium or Causticum maybe was the right remedy in the wrong potency?
