Diarrhea due to IBS
Sir,Few years back I was diagnosed constipated IBS and took Lin Seed and Kutaj(holarrhena antidysentrica and I was alright.Unfortunately Kuta is not available now.Last one week I am suffering from diarrhea not even some ayurvedic medicine could not restrict it.Now the diarrhea is little bit only but it happens.
Pls advice what medicine I should take and food habbits.Thanks for the help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Nux Vomica 30 in the morning and evening for 3 days and see how that affects.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Mighty thanks for the reply. 3 months finding it difficult to discharge motion. Even if it comes it comes only little quantity, some time solid some time semi solid.
Now last 1 week 2/3 time in a day diarrhea occurs.If I take ginger pieces with lemon juice for anoher 24 hrs no diarrhea, but afterwareds 1/2 time it occurs.
Your advice will be highly appreciated and tks in advance for your kind reply.

There should be a gap of atleast 30 minutes between meals and remedy. It doesn't matter whether you take it before or after food.

Please avoid potato, fried items and junk food. There is no harm in taking fruits, butter milk and similar GI friendly items.

I am also suffering from sinus last 5 yrs. No I am taking a)dasamoola kaduthrayad kashayam, chukku thipilli pill and Anu thailam as nassle drops.
Pls advice can I continue with this or u advice me something so that I can discontinue.

Please stop all other remedies. Nux may also help in your sinusitis.

Sir,
Last 2 days as per yr advice I am taking the medicine. Yesterday I went thru motion twice but it was sticky and gasy. I thought diarrhea stopped.
But today Ist motion was sticky and small quantity. But 2nd time it was watery with mucus, blackish, grey colors.
Pls advice about any change in medicine.
I am taking curd rice and idly only. If I take black tea with lemon diarrhea stops but again next day it sarts.

i forget to tell you that when I went to Homeo clinic to buy Nux Vomica 30, the Dr. their said that this medicine is only for Constipation, whereas to stop the diarrhea it is is correct, however, I purchased that medicine. This is for yr infor only.
Now again diarrhea for one time only.

Please continue with Nux Vomica 30 twice a day for a week.
You can have other food items in your diet. But you should avoid food with much spices, fried food, potatoes and black drinks.

Its my sincere request pls confirm again as I was told by the Homeo Clinic here that Nux30 is only for constipation.If I am suffering from IBS diarrhea that I should go for something.Otherwise taking Nux30 will increase the diarrhea.

Nux is a remedy for diarrhoea and constipation. When these occur one after another in cyclical fashion. The person needs to go many times for evacuating his bowels but still feels constipated!!

As suggested by you last 2 days I am taking Nux Vomica 200 since 30c is not available anywhere here.
Today Ist motion was semi solid,2nd motion was little bit watery and the 3rd one was watery for some colors.
Instead of tea with milk i take only black tea with lemon is it wrong?.
Pls advice some good medition to relieve from this problem.Last 10 days I am suffering like this.
I am also taking Amlodoc 2.5 tab after food in the night.

You can't repeat Nux Vomica 200 twice a day. Please take it at night only if there is some relief from Nux.
Why are you taking amlodipine, do you have hypertension?

Please take three doses of arsenic alb 200 at a gap of 12 hours and see how that affects in next few days.
Please stop Nux Vomica for the time being.
Did you take any antibiotics for your diarrhea? It seems that you are not in India, where are you right now?

These are minor problems. The bowels might have been irritated by summer heat or some toxin.
Few doses of ofloxacin (zanocin 200) may settle the issue. You may see your nearest allopath.
Nux or Ars may also work but you need to have patience. A person with patience is more fortunate than a person with good health!!

Sorry to say Sir, still I go thru motion but like thick porridge morning once or twice. I have lots of patience but there should be some improvement after taking the medicine.
The quantity of the motion is also very little. After 1/2 time there is no loose motion after wareds i.e. next day only. I am living on curd rice only last 20 days.
Please advice some quick remedy. Sorry for the inconvenience.
