Question for Maheeru: Baby confused day and nigh, I think....
My +2 week old baby girl confused day and night, based on my opinion. She sleeps soooo well during the day, I wake her to eat. At night she wakes more often and after I feed her, she fusses for a while before returning to sleep and while she is sleeping she keeps grunting and waking frequently. Sometimes it takes an hour for her to settle after I finish feeding her, and then she will wake up in two hours again and we go through the process again and again. She sure seems to have more gas at night, I can hear her tummy rumbling and could feel it with my hand. But I don't think that gas is the only reason why she wakes up and fusses at night, I think she confused day and night. Any remedies for her?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This is your first baby?
It takes awhile for them to get on
a schedule, so you try to keep them
up more in the day as when they sleep
all day you are going to be up all night.
At the start you need to sleep when they
sleep till things get more normal .

Ok I see what you mean. Use the
edit button on lower right and change
your headline and ask for Maheeru.
Like Maheeru help with baby sleep
patterns. He probably can help with
your C section post at same time- he
does a lot of pregnancy and baby cases.
good luck!!

I just recently learned that my religion is against such high dose, I can only use something up to 12 c or anything with an x. Will a less dilute dose work? How does this medicine work to correct the day and night confusion?
olesyapoberezhnyy last decade
Well, about the 200c, they say that it's so diluted that there is no medicine left in it and that it's supernatural that it still works. I don't really understand the reason fully, but it does stop me from using a high dose because I know that my religion is against it for some reason.
Do you think that a lower dose would work?
Do I give it to her before bed or any time? usually 1 am to 5-6 am is the worst for her.
Just one dose a week will take care of it, if not then repeat once or twice more? I am desperate for night time sleep!!!
I had another irrelevant question for you, I had c sections because the baby would not drop past 0 station, my cervix would dilate to 8 and then begin to close because baby wouldn't drop down. Is there homeopathy for that?????

One more question, can I take the remedy instead of giving it to the baby since I breastfeed? I kid of have a hard time falling asleep at night because I get overtired.

Ok, thanks. I will try that. Will the remedy help with sleep alone or also with gas? She has gas also during those times. I can hear her tummy rumbling and I could feel it with my hand.
olesyapoberezhnyy last decade
ok, so I'll give it to her as soon as I receive it. How soon should I see if it's actually working for her or not? Is it one week?

hi, I wanted to ask you another question. I haven't recieved the remedy yet, but I've been trying to keep baby awake during the day and now she seems to improve with day and night confusion. It's getting better and better. NOw she mostly fusses and is very gassy and sleeps bad during the day until about 7 pm. Her nights aren't perfect but better. She is one very gassy baby! Do you think that the remedy will still help when her days and night confusion got better?
olesyapoberezhnyy last decade
Hi, I received the remedy. I have to update you that she is sleeping so much better at night. She is more gassy twords morning and before noon. She's more awake before night, about 8 pm, then she goes to sleep at about 10pm for the night. So I think that her sleeping issue has improved alot. Do you still think that I should give her this remedy, or is there another one that would work better? I want to know before I open the remedy.
If you think that it's still the correct one, then, from what I understood, you want me to take 2 pellets and put it in some water (does it matter if it's boiled water or not? warm or cold? Is about 1 ounce enough or more or less needed?) Then you want me to cover it for 15-20 minutes. Then stir it very slowly 3-4 times. Then give her one teaspoon. Wait one week and see if there is no improvement, repeat. Did I get everything right?

So I received the remedy today. Her symptoms have changed/improved. Her sleep is a lot better during the night! She has more gas towards morning hours and in the morning. She is more awake before bed time, around 8 pm until she falls asleep for the night at about 10pm. She still has gas especially in the morning and in the evening hours.
Do you still think that the remedy will help her or do you think a different one is needed?
If you think it's still the correct remedy, then from what I understood, you want me to take 2 pellets and add some water (will 1 ounce do it? or is more or less needed? Does it have to be boiled water or is tap water ok? Does it have to be cold or warm?)
Then you want me to cover it for 15-20 minutes. After that you said to stir slowly 2-3 times. Give baby one teaspoon. Wait one week to see if there is no improvement, repeat.

Hi, So her night sleep has improved, but I don't know if it's because of the remedy or just on it's own, since she was getting better and better at it even before I gave her the remedy. She is still having gas pains. Sometimes she is unable to nurse because she is having gas and/or trying to have a bowel movement, but it's not working out for her. (she's not constipated or anything, she actually have many BM's every day, just struggles sometimes) She she will just fuss at the breast for a long time during those moments and she appears to be very uncomfortable and gassy.
So was the remedy supposed to take care of the gas problem also? Should I wait longer to see if it helped with that, or should I try something else?

ok thank you very much!
I forgot to ask you something else, so she sleeps very good at night and then for her morning nap. But after about 5 pm she doesn't really sleep good unless I am nursing her to sleep and staying with her. So she will wake frequently and cry. Sometimes I have dinner to make and other kids to take care of. So I was wondering if the previous remedy was supposed to take care of that also, or just the night sleep? (some people say it's normal for baby's to be fussier and nurse more in the evening, so may be you think that it's normal, and nothing should be done about it? Or should I repeat the previous remedy for her to improve evening sleep?

I've ordered the two remedies. I had another question, I forgot to mention that baby also has mucous in her stool a lot of the time. Is that normal? Or should we also do something about that?

Thanks for your response. So, do you say that it's normal or not normal for her to have Frothy stool? Why is she having it? Is it because I had antiboatics during my c section that killed good flora in her tummy?
What's the reason that you think she needs the ORS therapy done? Do you think that she is dehydrated? She's gaining weight at 1 ounce a day.
