Homeopathic medicine for Alzheimers

My mother is in the 3rd stage of Alzheimer's. She is 61 and taking several medications, aricept, paxil, serquoil etc. We have seen rapid deterioation. Any ideas if homeopathic medicine would help mom?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Alzheimers disease is not in India, recent researches indicated that it is because Indian people use Turmeric as spices.

Family who tend to have Alzheimers should look into this.

Also it is better not to use cooking utensils made of Aluminium, baking in aluminium trays, covering with aluminium foil etc. Avoiding Aluminium itself can hold the disease at bay.

I have read that Rosemary has properties in it similar in many ways to I think the latest drugs being looked at for alzheimers.

Also mercury poisoning can play havoc with peoples brains - cilantro (chinese parsley) gets rid of excess metals from the body. However if she has a metal plate in her you perhaps wouldn't want to use it as it may corrode it.

I think likely too much degeneration by now, but you could try Baryta Carb., high - 10M, 3-4 pills a dose, on consecutive days (i.e., 3 doses in all, one each day).
BTW, Kuldeep, whoevver told you there are no cases of Alzheimer's in India?
The advice re. cooking in Alum. pots etc. good, but little late in the day, alas.

I too agree with Barayta Carb and as well make turmeric a part of your food. I hope you know what is turmeric and where to obtain it. Basicall it is a coloring spice provides yellow color to the food.

I too agree that Baryta Carb be used to help this case. I would however prefer that the 200c potency be used instead of the 10M since this remedy may have to be taken for some time. It is best used in the wet dose method detailed below

Arnica 200c in the Wet Dose method may also help this case.

The method to be used is detailed below:
Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100 ml
Put in just 1 drop of the remedy or 3 pellets into the water and screw the cap on.
Bang the bottle on your palm or a cushion and watch for the bubbles that rise up with each bang. This is called succussion and renders the water to be slightly higher in potency and makes the remedy more effective.
This must be done every time the remedy is used.
Keep the bottles in the refrigerator.

Sip just 1 teaspoonful of the potentized water daily.

The 2 remedies can be taken alternatively one in the morning and the other in the evening.

Please note that 2 separate bottles must be used for the 2 remedies, Baryta Carb 200c and Arnica 200c

I would recommend Alum for your mother it has been shown that there are aluminium deposits in the brains of people suffering from this disease.
any of the heavy metals are likely to provide some alleviation in symptoms.

Tumeric, as a supplement, is better absorbed when combined with piperine (from black pepper).

Hi,

I used to post under the name Courtney. Due to not remembering my password and changing isp's so not being able to get a password reminder sent (if indeed that facility operates at this site) I have had to re-register as Courtney Gal. I wanted to come back and add some further information to where I had commented on cilantro. I think I did so at 2 places. If somebody comes across another place where I wrote about cilantro could you please copy and post this over there, I would appreciate it - thank you.

Since posting about Cilantro I did alot more research about detoxing.

I seemingly had no problem taking Cilantro but if what I have read is correct others have. This may be due to others ingesting more cilantro than I did, others having more heavy metals in their bodies or differences in peoples bodies or some combination of the above or other things.

Using homeopathy most of the mercury had been taken from my body already by the time I used cilantro. The cilantro seemed to nicely mop up the small remaining amount. Levels were checked using muscle testing.

Reading about different substances people ingest to get rid of toxins I could find no method I was happy with. Some people seemed to have good results using a particular substance that another person(s) didn't.

It's not just a matter of stirring up/mobilizing a toxin from where it is but:
- getting it out the body without causing major damage. Hopefully causing just minimal damage
- not just redistributing it to another place in the body (where I suppose it might do worse damage than where it was)

After lots of research I just didn't know what to do to help my body detox. Then I came again across the methods of saunas/far infrared and betonite clay and foot detox pads. I just wanted to ingest something to help my body detox - it's so straight forward but I was 'forced' to consider the last 2 mothods.

You might like to look into these other methods.

With detox baths and even apparently foot detox baths some people should look to avoiding them. The same might possibly go for saunas and far infrared.
Apparently contraindications for some/all the 4 methods: Kidney challenges, Insulin dependent diabetic, frost bite, heart conditions, artereiosclerosis of lower legs, loss of feeling in feet or legs, high blood pressure. I think it's at least mostly a heat thing.

Far infrared works by deep heating from the middle of the body or something like that I think. It sort of reminds me of a microwave. I'm not sure if I would use one.

Regarding betonite clay baths. Have been known to cause septic pipe damage. Betonite clay should not be used in jacuzzi tubs. Apparently the preferred betonite clay soaking method is betonite clay in a foot water bucket or some such thing, soaking the feet.

I may not have the names right but betonite clay foot baths, 100% apple cider vinegar foot baths, epsom salt foot baths with or without other things added, and foot detox pads are what I am looking at at the moment.

In the above post I wrote:
'Reading about different substances people ingest to get rid of toxins I could find no method I was happy with. Some people seemed to have good results using a particular substance that another person(s) didn't.'

I would also like to add that some people seemed to be seriously harmed taking internally substances to help their bodies detox. In none of this post or the above post am I refering to homeopathy when I talk about harm being done. I haven't researched whether taking homeopathy to help the body detox can cause serious harm in certain cases.

I also wrote:

Actually I realised I could click on the Courtney link and choose to see all the posts I have done and not just rely on say google to find my cilantro posts. So it's sorted.
