Modalities

I had an episode of nausea last night and found my most comfortable position to be sitting on the edge of the bathtub, leaning forward and resting my arms or elbows on my legs.

I know the correct remedy is usually confirmed by modalities and the one that I know is "better for sitting with elbows on knees" is Kali Carb.

Is there another and how do I search for this modality in the repertory? I have books, not a computer.

Also, a homeopath once told me that I couldn't be a Kali Because "Kalis" are closed and reserved and I am very open and forthcoming. Nevertheless, I see myself having many things in common with this remedy and know that I revert to the "sitting with elbows on knees" almost every time I am feeling ill or stressed.

I'd appreciate any advice on this remedy (what confirms it) or other remedies with the modality "better for sitting with elbows on knees."

Thank you. Ruth

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you read Prof J ,T. Kent on Kali Carb , he defines it as one of the most dificult to discern.

Generalisations about "the Kali´´s are not always helpful.

Check out Kent´´s Lecture.
