dementia treatment

My Father, 83, has vascualr dementia and has lived in a secure home since Febuary of this year, afer undermining the door security system and leaving the respite care home. His wife felt she could not cope anymore. No one else in the family was consulted on his condition, the drugs given or the approach to authorities that put him under the DOLS regime. He has lost his right to freedom and is under the court of protection. Thus the home and social services have become his official carers. He is on a cocktail of drugs, which iclude Risperidone, Aricept,Venafaxine, Bisoprolol, Simvastatin and Asprin. I have asked for a drug reduction programme but its not happening. He is sinking and disappearing fast. His cognitave powers have reduced extremely rapidly. His speech is going fast and he often seems to be fighting the fog in his head. He now shakes a lot and cannot get up or undo his trouser quick enough to get to the wc and thus is judged incontinent. His muscle tone and weight has dropped alarmingly. He has no stimulation and spends most of the day on his own, often lying on his back staring at the ceiling, almost in a trance, breathing very low. He seems to have no concept that he is like all the other shuffling residents in the home and just wants to leave. He is reported to be vulgar and agressive from time to time, though nobody in the family has witnessed this and it is very uncharacteristic of him. He seems very unhappy, frightened and lonely. It is hard to know if he is ever in physical pain. The home says all of this is 'normal for his illness'. I have no formal access to his GP or caseworker as his wife is his official representative.
The drugs he is on seem to be in breach of the guidelines in force and he displays the classic side effect symptoms. However, wife does not want to investiage this or 'rock the boat' with the home. What a way to end a life, so unhappy and undignified!

So, given that I seem to be powerless to get any change in his care, I am wondering if homeopathic treatment could help him in anyway when he is taking such a dose of poison everyday and living without much stimulus.
I would love to think he could be cured but I am searching at least for a way to help him make this last period of his life a better one. I am so sad. So any help and advice would be most welcome.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him Alumina 30 in the morning and evening for 3 days and see how that affects in next few days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
