Undiagnosed Abdominal and Pain during Urination Pain
Hello,I have good experience with homeopathy and have given up on modern medicine in pursuit of finding a cure to my pain.
This pain started a long time ago, I have a pain during urination that isn't ALWAYS there but usually is. If I drink more it usually helps a little. I also had horrible testicular pain and have taken several types of antibiotics to get rid of that.
Basically, my blood results that I've done recently are perfectly normal. On top of that, I do not have any UTI's, they even cultured a sample and found no bacteria. Also, I tested negative for STD's.
My problem is that I have random abdominal pain, around 3-4 inches beneath my belly button on both sides. I do not have diarrhea but I do feel that when I do have the pain and I have to pass gas or go to the bathroom, the pain intensifies - That might be pressure on the bladder though. Also, the more primal pain is the pain during urination I have, it's been going on for too long and I would love to hear your opinions, whether it is about what can cause whatever is going on here which no doctors seem to know (I have went to several internal medicine doctors and a urologist), and I am willing to try some homeopathic solutions as I found a store nearby that sells some. Notice that this is chronic by now as it's been going for around half a year (the pain during urination. The abdominal pain probably a month or so).
Thank you very much, I really wish that you can help me and I would be extremely grateful.

Thank you. Here goes.
1. I am 23 - Male - 1.74 Meters - 55 Kg - Currently unemployed but full-time student - Texas, USA
2. This is mentioned in the OP. It started off with a burning sensation during urinating around March. Then I had horrible testicular pain (as well as abdominal pain which is probably linked to the scrotal pain) around May. Got antibiotics but then I started having abdominal pain. It's hard to say if it's the same area as the testicular pain abdominal pain but I want to say it's not connected.
I would also like to add that between January - May I traveled in South America. I came from Israel and ended up in the US in May. One of my doctors said it might be some parasite from South America or something of that nature. I do not know of anyone I traveled with that has any of these symptoms though.
3. As I mentioned in the OP, the 2 symptoms that I have now - pain during urination would be about 6 months now. Abdominal pain around 2 months.
4. N/A.
5. N/A.
6. I did have a loss of appetite up until recently but I would link that with the antibiotics I was taking. I was on doxycycline for 7 weeks for the suspected chlamydia (tests came out negative), and then 14 days of Levofloxacin which basically did nothing, sepecially since my urine results came out negative.
7. No. I do have pressure of going to the bathroom when I wake up but that I am not sure if it might just be my metabolism and I got my body used to going to the bathroom when I wake up recently. I do notice that the abdominal pain is more prominent in the morning before I go to the toilet, than afterwards. Usually.
8. Yes but I do live in Texas. I used to not drink much but now especially with the burning sensation I try to drink around 6-8 glasses a day on average.
9. Can't pinpoint a difference. I do want to say the heat probably makes it worse as it will burn more because it is hot.
10. I used to, but now much less. I recently moved and started college and so things are getting better, I have much less stress but I still do with getting good in college, finding a job and getting a social circle.
11. I usually get at least 7 hours of sleep but then I wake up for some reason for the past few weeks, and then I might go to the toilet (I might be getting woken up because of a bowel movement?) And go back to bed for another hour or so. I wouldn't really call it sleep problems as if I go to sleep at around 11 I will wake up at 6 earliest to maybe go to the bathroom (for #2), and then back to bed.
12. My mood is perfectly fine. I am a very happy person and when I do have pain I don't really show it with these 2 symptoms.
13. N/A.
14. Nothing that will relate to this that wasn't mentioned here or in OP. I am just clueless as what is going on with my body as the symptoms changed (some of them), and I was tested negative for UTI's and Chlamydia, yet it seemed like I had some form of epididymtis or something of that nature, the pain was horrible and I just hope it won't come back.
15. I used Azithromycin 1 gram because I thought I might have gotten Chlamydia, this was in January. Doxycycline in May, I think it was 7 grams but not sure.
Then another 14 days of Levofloxacin (Levaquin?) I believe that was 7 grams, 0.5 each pill.
16. I got out of shape as I was traveling, but now try to get back to my 3 power workouts a week, with college it is usually twice a week now. It involved pushups, chinups, back muscle exercises and the basic stomach exercise.
17. I don't know, but I think the blood tests tested it and it was fine, I never had problems in the weight department being skinny and having a healthy metabolism.
18. Nothing unusual really, I don't eat a lot of chocolate at all or sweets. I am not a vegetarian, and trying to cut down on beef.
19. For the longest time it feels like I am hungry a lot (whenever I have appetite as I did have a problem with that because of the antibiotics) and I can basically eat a normal meal and stay hungry while people around me are full. I am skinny so I am not sure what the situation is, but I've just been through a lot of changes the past years and so in South America I lost some weight because I did not eat too well and probably got my stomach shrunk too. I would still say my hunger is normal.
20. I believe my sweat is normal. Now that it is very hot it mainly sweats more in my armpits, and I suppose head (forehead).
21. It was something like 115 / 80 last time I checked, don't mark my words on this but I went to a few doctors and it was fine every time.
22. I usually try to eat an OK breakfast, definitely not satisfactory but my body isn't used to eating breakfast these days, so I wake up like 1.5 hours before I need to leave for college and I eat a toast or two, or a bowl of Cheerios. Then for lunch I usually make myself like 2 sandwiches of peanut butter or cold cuts with tomatoes. Eat a banana/apple and a granola bar too. Then around 5-7 pm I make myself some dinner too, such as rice/pasta/potatoes in general.
Thank you very much.

Thanks for the update.
1)Any test for kidney stones ??
2) What is the colour of the urine?
3) Any symptoms of severe coughing in the past or present ?
4) Any neuralgic pain ?
5) Do you pass urine very often?
6) Any endoscopy tests ?
Please get hold of following medicine in liquid dilution:
1) Pulsatilla 30C.
>> Take three doses of Pulsatilla 30C for one day. First dose should be taken early morning empty stomach. Second dose in the afternoon and third dose before going to bed.
One dose means.
The medicine is in liquid dilution form. Add 3-4 drops of medicine in some half cup (Approx. 3 sip) water and stir with spoon. Sip up the content.
Make sure you keep all medicines away from direct sunlight, strong smell, strong heat zone (keep it in a dark cool place away from allopathic medicines). Also make sure the dropper is fitted with the bottle, else use separate dropper for different medicine for making doses, this will avoid unnecessary contamination.
Please update.
Blessings & Prayers,
Nikkie.

Hello,
1. No, I do not feel like I want any internal things going around me just yet, the pain isn't that bad. I've been recommended cystoscopy but do not want it yet.
2. Urine is normal, sometimes when I drink a lot of water or am a bit cold it is transparent, sometimes it is yellow.
3. Yes, I have allergies here in Texas that hit around September and cause a lot of phlegm and coughing, I did take some homeopathic drops that contain the different grasses etc of this location and that helped a lot but it did not solve it, so I will keep taking it when allergies return. Other than this seasonal allergy, not really. I had some streps as a teenager but that was years ago.
4. No.
5. Well, I try to follow it and it seems that when I get cold at night I pee a lot more and it's also harder to contain the pee. It still seems like my bladder is much weaker these days and when I need to pee, I NEED to pee, so it's a problem. If I drink tea I will pee a lot I guess I'm a bit sensitive to it. I am indeed thinking of IC as a cause but I don't pee nearly as often as it says I should according to those symptoms, but who knows. I pee around 10 times a day on average I guess.
6. No. Again, I do not feel the pain is worth it to do the endoscopy right now. When I had the testicular pain I would have because that pain was excruciating. Now, it's not as bad.
Can I get some information somehow about Pulsatilla ?
After some googling it seems like it is more about emotions than my pain, is there something more specific to the bladder/kidney/urethra?
Does it have any side effects if it's not the right medicine ? What are the chances of it healing me or just muting the symptoms for some time or while I take it, and then they will come back when I'm done with the batch ?
Thank you so much.

Thanks for the update.
Yes it is also meant for emotions/mind related symptoms (taking care of other related symptoms). But, also used for the problem as explained by you.
You can start with the first dose and update me.

Ok I got it but I got the solid form. The directions say 5 pellets under the tongue 3 times a day ? Should I follow your instructions for the liquid form ? They didn't have the liquid form but I didn't think it matters.
Awaiting your instructions! I will start it tomorrow so would appreciate your help Nikkie. Thank you so much!

OK! If pellets are the only option at your end, you can go ahead with that, it wont matter. My prescriptions go with liquid dilutions :).
You can dissolve 3-4 pellets of remedy in 1/2 cup water (pellets will dissolve in about say 2-4 minutes) stir with spoon. Now, this is the dose for you.

Hi Nikkie,
I am going to bed and will start tomorrow morning. Does it matter if it is with an empty stomach or not ? 3 times a day you said. Also, it says on it to simply put 5 pellets under my tongue, no need to dissolve in water - does that matter ?
Thank you!

Ok a small update.
I put 4 pellets under my tongue 3 times a day. So far no improvements whatsoever. I will keep doing this as this is the first day and will finish the package anyway (it has 80 pellets).
Any other thing you can think of ?
Thank you so much.

There is no need to finish the entire package. You can continue for two more days and stop. For next two days you should take two dose every day (ie: morning and evening).
Did you follow the below mentioned ? :-
Please follow homeopathy restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, and no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 45 minutes before or after taking medicine and brushing of teeth one hour before or one hour after taking the medicine. These restrictions need to be followed each time you take homeopathy medicines during the treatment.

I did not know of this and I did not follow that a single time. Since you're saying I can only take it twice though, I will do it as soon as I wake up and then in the evening too. Won't brush teeth or eat within an hour apart from it.
Is the way I do it ok ? Putting 4-5 pellets under my tongue ?
Thanks, worth a shot.

You're right, but the thing I used was different. I used (and will use if seasonal allergies return) semething called Allergena - it does not have any limitations and is a liquid dilution that I put the droplets under my tongue and that is the only thing that helped and helps me with seasonal allergies here in Texas. I've tried steroids, different types of antihistamines, and antibiotics - all to no avail.
Any limitations with alcohol ? I don't mind not drinking for a few days now but I would just like to know. I usually drink 1 beer or a glass of wine a day.
Thanks!

In homeopathy, there is no restriction regarding the diet (other then what I mentioned in my previous post). Homeopathic remedies work irrespective of the kind of food-drink taken by you. You must refrain from consuming foods-drink that aggravate your symptoms or do not suit you or dents your health. You can decide this for yourself better than the me :) .

Thank you, that makes sense.
You were talking about the onion/garlic thing so I thought there might be more limitations.
So far today seems a bit better. Then again, the symptoms can be gone for a few days at a time and then come back.
Do you recommend more options to investigate the cause ? I thought of making an appointment with a gastroenterologist and get a stool sample just to revoke that option.

Ok so after the symptoms remain, I will take probably the last batch in an hour and see how I'm doing tomorrow morning. I went to a gastroenterologist today and he said it is most likely not his department, but solely a urinary thing. he said the pain is most likely caused from my ureters. Can you think of any other easy solutions ? I will take a stool sample and then if that comes out ok, I'm afraid the next step is a cystoscopy.
Thank you!
Thank you!

So, Pulsatilla did not help.
Any other advice you can give on this matter ? It's pretty frustrating.

Why did you say you are afraid?
Also you said

WHY did you say so?
Just want to know the reason behind these statments this is my style of case taking if you dont mind....
Lemme know the answers and lemme see if I arrive at a remedy..

Started with 3 times a day of 5 pellets, then moved to 2 of 5 pellets a day, morning and then evening around 7 pm. This was pulsatilla 30C, in solid form.
KoMoDo last decade
Ok, still no news. As a matter of fact, the past 3 days the burning sensation wasn't bad (which is similar to before the pulsatilla. Like I said, some days are better, some days are worse). But my lower back and abdominal pain are very dominant and paining me. I had pretty bad lower abdomen pain today and I wasn't sure what to do.
Dr. Yogesh - Thanks for trying to help. I am afraid of a cystoscopy because it just seems like the business there is very delicate and I prefer not to get a tube go up there right now. So I would prefer easy solutions first (that answers both questions!).
Also, what do you think of this ?

I'm starting to think it might be a stone, although I don't know if it would hurt for so long.
I have an appointment with a urologist on Wednesday morning. Anything specific I should discuss ?
Thank you!
