Toddler, almost 3, chronic health conditions
I have been trying to treat my daughter's chronic constipation which has been going on for around 2 years now. She has an aversion to pastuerized milk products except yogurt, so we give her raw cows milk. She seemed to do better on cell salts at first, but then they weren't very effective anymore. That's how it's been with most of the things we have tried, all natural--flax seed, aloe vera juice, enzymes, etc.,- they seem to work at first and then don't work very well anymore. She is a very picky eater.
She also has trouble with her teeth. Around a year old, they started getting white spots which eventually turned brown. Now they wear away very easily, and this morning I noticed a bigger piece was missing from them. Only the top four in front are affected.
I don't know what to do. Does anybody have a clue about possible remedies?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Also, I have tried the over the counter Newton's constipation remedy for her, and presently we are giving her a mild children's laxative. We have an appointment with a nurse practitioner next month, but if there is something homeopathic or otherwise natural that we can do, I'd rather do that.

She is very clingy, has been since birth, needing mommy almost all the time, but it has gotten better with her growing up a little. Always busy, always talking, or singing, or yelling, or dancing, loves physical activity and play, doesn't like to cuddle except when very tired, fights sleep and then crashes (has done this since birth too). Breastfeeding still, likes to nurse.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Any food restrictions/diet advice to take into account?

Thank you.
I have ordered the recommended remedy, and it should be here by Tuesday. I will begin that night.

Thought I'd give you an update. She is still quite constipated, as you predicted after only 2.5 weeks, but the last time she did have a bowel movement, she went 4 times in 24 hours, and they were all large bowel movements. This is an improvement, as before she would usually only go 2 times in 24 hours when she couldn't hold it in any more.
Also, I have noticed improvements in her mood. She is calmer and easier to discuss things with. She is not as demanding. More cooperative.
I have noticed some red bumps on her chest and on the front side of her left shoulder, four in total. She also has some bug bites, but these bumps are different than the bug bites, and I didn't know whether or not they were a sign that the medicine is bringing about changes in her system. She also has one or two of these on her bottom.

I wanted to talk to you about the possibility of me treating myself for some conditions, with homeopathy, while breastfeeding. What's the protocol there? Do I need to wait until both of my children are weaned, or can I safely treat myself and not harm them? I am assuming that if I can at all, I should at least wait until my toddler's condition is resolved.
My main condition needing treatment is guttate psoriasis. I used the homeopathy software on the site, filled it out for like 2 hours for all of my symptoms, and it suggested the Sulphur remedy, and I have had psoriasis since I was about 13, so I am guessing I would need to use the 200C strength once a week.
Please weigh in on this, as I don't want to harm my children or make things more complicated for them, but I am tired of living with psoriasis and other conditions I have.

Sorry, I should have been more specific on what I used for software... I used the Remedy Finder for myself and it said sulphur, and then I read the suggestions for potency and it said for chronic conditions 200C is usually used, and only once a week. Could you help me find the right remedy, and potency, and dosage for myself, if you don't think the Remedy Finder does a good enough job? I'd really like to get this right, and I would love to learn more about homeopathy in the process. I am very grateful for all of your help so far, I am seeing many positive changes in my daughter.

2 weeks ago, she started going everyday, and then about a week ago, she got stopped up again. I let it go for 3 days, thinking her system might kick in to start things moving by itself. Day 4 I started giving her mild laxatives as I used to. It has been a week. She tries to go in the morning, has the urge, but nothing happens. Is this back and forth thing with symptoms normal?
