What can one do if he/she has had Epstein Barr virus? Walkin has noted in an earlier post (2005-08-15)that it is the first virus to be identified as an oncovirus and associated with the development of cancer. It is associated with lymphomas and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.I have had or still have the EBV although my symptoms are dizziness and numbness in hands and feet. THe blood test is as follows:
EBV-EBNA-IgG-Ak >600 E/ml under 5.00
EBV-VCA-IgG-Ak > 750 E/ml under 20.0
EBV-IgM-Ak >10.0 E/ml under 20.0
I certainly don'T want to develop cancer. What can I do to protect myself? Can I get rid of the virus completely?
DOes anyone on this forum have experience with this? I'm quite worried now.

The only way to get rid of it is to upgrade the immune system by the use of

I want to suggest you check into something because you mentioned that you felt more improvement in your health when away from your home. You should have your home professionally checked for mold. I got very sick when I was exposed to a building regularly that had been flooded previously, had a leaking roof and other humidity problems, which festers mold. It can be in the heating system, in between walls, and in insulation. If insulation is black--it is due to humidity.
You need a mold inspector. You can do all the treating you want, but if you are in this type of environment you will continually only feel worse.
