Gallbladder malfunction - no stones

I am 33 years old Male who suffers from Abdominal pain right in the Gallbladder area. It all started about 4 months ago when the pain kept on increasing to the point that I had difficulty standing up at times.

In the ultrasound of Gallbladder, stones didn't show up and thus I was sent for a HIDA scan which checked if its working correctly. As I understand, a correctly working gallbladder should secrete at least 35% of the bile juice and mine only did 27%. Doctor believes that the best solution is to remove the gallbladder but I am really looking to save an organ and looking for any alternate therapies.

Medication - I am not taking any medication and don't have any allergies to any medicine either.

Diet - I am a vegetarian and during these episodes of pain, I strictly eat whole grain diet with fruits and vegetables that won't cause any gas problems. It seems to work but it takes good 2-3 weeks before I start feeling normal again. I don't drink alcohol or smoke.

Family history - Father is diabetic and mother has hypertension.

Please let me know if there are any follow up questions that might help understand any possible solutions.

I would highly appreciate your help here. I am absolutely ready to do any hard work or change my diet or exercise etc to save my gallbladder. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thank you for spending time on reading my request.
