Late period and breakouts on skin

My period has always been regular and I've always had clear skin. But this month I suddenly got lots of pimples on my face and deeper boil like pimples on my chest (though mostly no pus in them) and now my period is 10 days late. I also feel itchy as if my skin is burning. I'm 30 years old.

I am sure this is connected, something is suddenly wrong with my hormones.

I began taking a vitamin B supplement just prior to my skin breaking out and though it was a reaction to the vitamins, but stopping them hasn't helped at all. No matter how much I scrub or cleanse it doesn't really seem to get better. The areas that don't have pimples are dry. They're mostly along my hairline, temples, chin and under nose. Plus upper part of chest.

I've been using a pimple cream that has among other things sulfur in a low potency. Could I be getting a proving from this??

Also what remedies would you suggest I try? I think my skin would clear up when my period comes back. Pulsatilla? Graphites? Silicea? Higher potency of Sulphur?

I'm blonde, tall, slim, chilly. Nothing seems to have any effect on these symptoms they're the same all the time.

I am under a lof of stress which could also be the cause but I can't do anything about that....

Thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Pulsatilla 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

If you are an irritable lady Sepia should work better for you. In that case you should take Sepia instead of Pulsatilla.

Hello Kadwa,
thanks for your suggestions.
Last night I was looking for Pulsatilla, and then Sepia but I was out of both. So I looked in my MM for antidotes to Sulphur and I chose Thuja because I had it at hand and it felt the most suitable.

I took one dose of Thuja D200 at 7 pm and by 9 pm my period had started!

Very effective I must say. Do you think this is a sign that the cause was indeed a proving of Sulphur? I had been using that ointment several times a day and I am generally a very sensitive person. I thought it was herbal ie teatree oil but it also had homeopathic remedies in low potency.

I hope my skin will clear up soon! And I won't use that ointment anymore...

If I am this sensitive, should I also stay away from other topical homeopathic products like Traumeel cream?

Thuja doesn't antidote Sulphur. So we can't say that sulphur was antidoted and you got your periods. Thuja may be indicated in your case and it could have worked. You have not given enough homeopathic data to draw any conclusions.
