6 year old daughter and endless SINUS infectionsHello,
My daugter is 6 years old and since she was a small baby, she has had recurrent sinus infections. We have seen so many specialists (ENT (adenoids removed at 3yrs old), Allergists (allergic to cats and dust mites), Pulmonologist and etc.) and no one can explain why she always has sinus infections. Her allergies are very mild and cannot be the sole cause of her sinus issues.
Seriously, she has about 5-10 sinus infections a year. She is always taking antibiotics and I am so upset to see my child suffering, unable to stop her from getting sick yet again. Her sinus problems start as a common cold, one day she will be sniffly and all of a sudden, she is unable to breath and with endless mucous running down her throat. This causes her to cough at night and she is unable to sleep. Eventually the mucous becomes a light colored goo and she starts to vomit as it is too thick and too much for her to swallow. It drips down in the back of her throat. When the sinus infection is severe, she will complain of a headache and eye ache, usually the right eye. She says it hurts so bad, she has to keep it closed. Her infections occur mainly in fall and winter, but she has had them during the summer too. Sometimes, they occur for no reason, she wakes up stuffy and from there on, it slowly develops into an infection. We have done everything you can think of, saline spray, nasonex, humidifier, singulair, kept her away from dry places, and etc... We tested her for every possible case scenario, she has been proded and poked many times. Still she continues to get sinus infections.
Her personality - She is very strong willed and she likes to do everything herself (from putting clothes on, to brushing teeth and doing her homework). She dislikes affection, she has never liked too many hugs or kisses or people being inside her personal space. As a baby, she was happier laying on her crib than being held (which was very strange since her sister loved being cuddled). She gets angry easily, she is left handed and very artistic. She loved to draw! She also has a very strong connection with nature, she adores animals and the outdoors. Her dream is to be a biologist. She is funny and witty, needs to be reminded often to follow the rules.
Please, if you can give me any ideas of what would work for her, any positive feedback is very welcome. I just need to find a homeophatic solution for my sweet daughter so we can stay far away from antibiotics. Thank you!
Ps - I (mom) strongly believe in homeopathy as it has helped me overcome asthma as a child.

system-it can be awhile. I suggest you google ocean premium saline spray-
no meds !! one- and get a similar thing where you are.
I think it now comes with a gel also that is barrier to allergens.
It soothes nose and keeps allergens out- so it stops sinus infection
from starting. The allergens irritate nostrils, then inflammation and mucous
begins, then sinus tissues are stressed and vulnerable to bacteria and then
you get the infection- it is a cycle that nose spray of simple salt water
stops the entire cycle. My friends and relatives who do not have allergies
totally cured, use this and no more sinus infections and barely any mucous
lasts more than a day.
Pixie: fyi- when a post has a white box open it is good to let a prescriber
respond and then put in your comment. Bc many prescribers look
for the white box to take a case and then think the case is taken,
and the person does not get a response from a homeopath.

time and then wondered why no one got a prescription.
I think it is bc people just do a quick scan to see
white boxes bc they don't have time to be reading
the whole forum.
