Fibrous dysplasia (head)... Silicea!!??
I just joined this forum hoping I'd find some useful advice on the conditon I have.I have been diagnosed Fibrous dysplasia in cranium (head) which is gradually growing. I'm 40 years old and in perfect health otherwise.
I have detected that probable homepathic cure for me could be Silicea but I'm not sure about the dosage.
Could anyone help me on this problem or on the dosage?

First of all I'm must stress out that I'm convinced that the current condition is a result of a bump in the head (physical injury).
1. ID or Your Name: Sonia
2. Age : 40

6. Height . 176 cm
7. country Montenegro
8. climate : Moderate (Continental-Mediteranian)
9. List of your complaints : Fibrous dysplasia (cranium/head)
10. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint :since 2000, or 12 years
11. Diabetic or non-Diabetic : non-diabetic
12. Desire sweets/sour/salt : all moderate, no problems
13. Thirst : water/tea all moderate, no problems
14. Tongue and Taste : no problems
15. Current Blood Pressure (without medicine and with medicine) : without medicine 120/75
16. What exactly is happening? progression of Fibrous Dysplasia in right part of the head, sometimes I feel pain in that part of the head. Also, there is a swelling 2,5cm x 2,5cm that pops up about 3mm. I fear disfigurement...
17. How do you feel? Overall ok, happy (all else is just fine).
18. How does this affect you? Anxiety about my future condition
19. How does it feel like? As far as the occasional pain in the head, pain feels sharp sometimes and sometimes like my head is big as a room. But that is not affecting anything in my life and its not constant nor a big deal.
20. What comes to your mind? Because of the swealling I fear that it might grow, disfigure me and that I will become closed to the world and no longer be happy.
21. One situation that had a big effect on you? Finding out about Fibrous dysplasia was without a doubt a big deal for me.
22. How did that feel like? Terrible. I felt like I'm going to die, becoming lost to my huseband and my kids.

About the pain... hm... its not something that can be described easily. Sometimes it as someone is sticking a needle in my head, and sometimes I feel like the head is ringing/humming, but also sometimes like someone is pressing a hammer at my head. All the time I have the feeling like its growing rapidly (although that is not the case). My fear is that it will press against my brain and that that will cause some disfunction or visible disfiguration. You can not see it now but I see it...

I can't say that I feel different. Although the pain comes not so frequent. I feel somewhat optimistic... it's hard to say...
All the fears are still present, but I don't think that will ever go away...

Hi,
Most of the fears are the same as I previously mentioned...
I always get very emotional when my I discuss my condition with my husband (tears,etc.) and I can't really talk about it.
I'm scared of disfigurement, but most of all I'm afraid that I will not live long enough for my children to remember me. Also, I'm afraid my husband won't love me anymore because of that...
Since my problem started I have been more appreciative of things around me. I live like I don't have much to go, and that sometimes scares me and can be very exhausting. I see things differently than others, I love everything around me much more nowadays...

Although, before we started the therapy I had a burning sensation in the affected area (like it has started to touch my brain!). I don't have that feeling anymore or it is so weak that I don't feel it. The headaches are still here but not so intense and not so frequent.
Most of my subjective feelings and fears are still here but I must say that I feel positive most of the time.
